yes i hope it is something very English i would love a 1940s-1990s Rolls Royce Type or a 1960s MG type, However ,This thing looks stunning as does the aston martin, Ley key not wanting it being from Japan, I mean i love cars from Japan ( my Little BP mazda 3 sedan ) But we have lots of those inbeam ATM, I hope England, Mind you the lexus LFA is a pure art on wheels, Keep in mind i love myself a stock iron block US land yacht so what do iknow
My thoughts might differ from yours; this could potentially be an electric four-door sedan coupe. First, it seems we already have enough two-door modern sports cars in the game. We have the ETK K-series and the Hirochi SBR4. If the new car were an electric vehicle, its positioning would likely overlap with the ESBR. In recent updates, the developers have been focusing on filling gaps in vehicle categories that were previously missing. I don't think they would select a car in the next update that overlaps with an existing one. What we’re really missing is a pure electric modern four-door sedan coupe. I believe the developers would be more inclined to update the game with something that fits this positioning. Second, we can clearly tell from this design sketch that the developers approach in-game vehicles with the same level of detail as if they were designing real cars. Typically, sketches like this are still in the early stages of design, used to establish the overall design language. At this point, the results presented are often highly exaggerated. So, it’s impossible to determine the vehicle’s positioning based solely on this sketch. It could be a four-door sedan coupe, a front-engine two-door sports car, or even a rear-engine two-door sports car—none of these possibilities can be ruled out. For example, here’s a design sketch of an electric four-door sedan coupe. At first glance, it looks like a front-engine two-door GT car, similar to an Aston Martin. But the production version turns out to be this: a four-door electric sedan coupe. So, I think it’s still too early to determine its positioning. If we’re going to speculate, I’d personally hope it turns out to be a four-door sedan.
Uh, respectfully, I don't think the BeamNG devs have a desire to rug pull this community, especially with how testy some of these people are. And if that door glass doesn't look like a coupe window to you, then go ahead and put the odds on Kalshi and I'll gladly put money down. And I don't know what's with this electric car obsession. Y'all know we have two already in the game right? If they go through the trouble of making a vehicle platform and modeling/designing everything, they'll probably make it an ICE with an option for electric to have broader appeal.
You make a valid point. I was really just sharing my own speculation—I can't say for sure that my perspective is correct. But we do share the same hope: that in the next update, the developers will give us a car that feels completely different from anything currently in the game. In any case, I just hope to see some fresh blood enter the mix.
It wouldn't really a rug pull anymore than any other time the community came to conclusions too quick... As much as I want it to be an Aston like most people seem to think, I don't think it actually is. Yes we do have two electric cars already but one is a factory conversion and the other isn't a dedicated platform. Something like an e-Tron GT would be unique and not unreasonable based on the concept art
No we don't. There's still a small, light, mid-engined, two-door modern sports car missing from the vehicle roster and the driving capabilities of this kind of vehicle IRL (in which cars like the Alpine A110, the Alfa Romeo 4C, the Lotus Emira and the Porsche 718 belong) are universally and unanimously praised. Not to mention that there are plenty of modern small turbocharged gasoline engines in BeamNG for powering it and all of them can be combined with both 6-speed manuals and 7-speed DCTs. Cherrier has such engines: - 1.6 I4 (160hp/260Nm & 230hp/360Nm) - 2.0 I4 (270hp/350Nm & 310hp/400Nm) - 2.5 I5 (350hp/450Nm & 410hp/520Nm) ETK has them too: - 2.0 I4 (150hp/240Nm, 190hp/280Nm & 250hp/350Nm) - 3.0 I6 (270hp/320Nm as an NA unit and it gets to 500hp/600Nm as a turbocharged unit, with plenty of ECUs available in between) Not to mention Hirochi: - 2.0 F4 (300hp/350Nm) - 2.5 F4 (350hp/420Nm & 450hp/570Nm) So yes, there's still plenty on this road to explore!
Imo the proportions overall look a lot like a blobified, smaller SBR4, with curves from the 4C and a taper to the rear like the A110
I’d like to see a older car like the Barstow or legran smt like that and the devs make a like a new generation of the same model it may not be as exciting but I think they should work on the like realism in models like seeing Honda bring back the accord I always like seeing that just a idea that I wanted to put out
that would be awesome! im surprised only the pessima got a newer gen like id love to see a new Barstow or an older bastion
