I did it the "wrong" way but it works just fine with the latest stable build. Experimental 0.3.7.7

The zip file is in content/vehicles, i tried opening it and putting the folder in and that didnt work either, its the same glitch, i remembered to remove the zip file before doing so.

The zip goes in the mods folder in your documents. It doesn't get extracted anywhere or go in content.

    I put it into /beamng/content/vehicles

    It works...

Try again after deleting the cache files, /mydocuments/beamng.drive/cache.0.3.7.7/vehicles

"The zip goes in the mods folder in your documents. It doesn't get extracted anywhere or go in content."

Even after putting the zip into /documents\beamng\mods it does not work, and to be honest that seems like a bad suggestion due to the fact stock vehicles and other vehicle mods work in the "default" vehicle directory.

"Try again after deleting the cache files, /mydocuments/beamng.drive/cache.0.3.7.7/vehicles"

I tried again after deleting the vehicles cache files, that also did nothing.

I'm getting the orange-yellow "no texture" error on the captains chairs for this mod. Any fixes or ideas?

I know Im quoting a previous page, but is that a private mod? Dont be afraid to tell us, It might clear up any confusion as to what mod that is... Either way its cool. And on topic here, The mod this thread is for, Is a great mod. Love using it. Just wish I could make the headlights square and recreate a 75 chevy stepside. Maybe you can do that? That would be a great mod.

First of all, amazing mod! One of my favourites, loving all the variety.

But I found a bug in the latest version, in the D15 V8 Single Cab Short Flatbed 'Off-Road':

    BeamNG 2015-03-01 20-04-11-43.png

The external part of the rearlights are way off where they should be.

EDIT: And in the D25 V8 AWD MT Station 'Off-Road' there are some ghost braking lights glowing up:

Have you got v 0.4.1? And have you had v0.4.0? If so, did you remove the vehicles cache and the cache material file? (See the first post) AND do you have the van in cache? (you get it in cache just by selecting and loading it once)

I've clarified the installation instructions a bit in the first post. :p

That 'D55' is a project which is currently on hold, read the third paragraph/line in the mentioned post. No one has it but me. It still needs lots of work to release a beta. I first want to update my existing mods before adding a new one.
I've been thinking of making a 'pre-facelift' lights and grill, but I'm still terrible in mapping. That's also why the D55 project is not really started yet.

Thanks for the heads up! The first one is a multi-Dae error, probably a typo. That last one is weird... I'll check that out. It should have the same spotlights (that's were the glowing comes from) as the original D15. The nodes are moved, and so should this spotlight.

Love the mod. Looks and works great. Is it possible to put a stinger tow arm on the back of the flat bed tow truck? It would be really kool to have the ability to tow two cars.

Here's a cheeky screenshot. By far the best mod made so far for beamng.

Taking a photograph of the screen with a phone or digital camera does not constitute taking a screenshot.

Alt-P, or steams built in F12 function or the printscreen key or windows snipping tool are all available to you and allow taking screenshots properly....

You're welcome! Here's a bit more of insight, the glow problem is a game problem after all, it happens to every car in the game, official ones as well, and happens when the car is moving and you pause the simulation pressing J, so nothing wrong on the car itself.

    Moving:

    BeamNG 2015-03-21 13-26-54-57.png

    Paused:

    BeamNG 2015-03-21 13-26-56-06.png

But BTW, on that version, the D35 V8 RWD AT Crw Cab 8' Bed, this happens:

    Good side:

    BeamNG 2015-03-21 13-25-55-67.png

    Bugged side:

    BeamNG 2015-03-21 13-25-59-50.png

I hope this helps as well, the flaws are really small :)
