...yup, airline ads. they're spammed all over the forums, not only in the General Discussion. is that the biggest raid ever? or was there a bigger one i missed

Its absolutely wild. Surely no one will fall for that utter crap. Its just clogging up the forums

 

yea, some airlines mentioned in those don't even fly to brazil (it all seems to be the brazillians...)

 

Seems like all the messages refer to different airlines and say to call a number. Not sure what the scam is exactly, maybe it is trying to show up in search results of people looking to travel, then they'll call the number and then get instructed to send them money or something. Seems far fetched, but it only takes one person to fall for it for it to be profitable...

 

Just stupid of them that the language that is spoken mostly also on the rules is english so ye kinda hope that keeps alot of users away from it

 

I reported all spammers to ban spammers.

Isnt there a way to rate limit creating threads? i assume its currently using the 1 minute per "post" limit, but isnt there a way to have the limit higher for threads?

 

Yeah, 1 minute per post, and 5 minutes per thread creation would probably be a good fit. You can't have anything anymore without shit being messed with.

There's also been some frequent raids on the Forums recently where some bots spam new threads with the name "Tokopedia" being mentioned.
