Yo tripleaye, i think im finished with the idea, i'd like a box utility trailer thts shorter then the standard box utility trailer, it should be able to fit a cargo load box XL, Also we might need a enclosed one too, btw there should be smol trailer for pigeon too, that can be modded like the pigeon, Btw, like the pigeon, the trailer should have its own accessories like bed box, bed extension, all that stuff, only problem is the trailer has to look like it was built for both the pigeon and wigeon
I disabled other mods than TA Trailer Expansion and TA Prop Expansion, boom, and the career mode broke
Unfortunately, I'm not going to be able to help as you're not providing me with any details. "Broke" could mean a lot of things. Have you tried to clear cache? I've tested with career mode and I don't see a problem and you're the first to report anything. Perhaps there's a conflict (although these mods should be mod friendly) or your files became corrupted somehow. It happens. Uninstall. clear cache. Reinstall if you want.
I think you can add B-train for Dryvan. Also 45ft and 32ft trailers, Like ATS. --- Post updated --- What's more, triple and quad axles are worth for tanker. --- Post updated --- For better container trailers, I think American Truck Simulator is an great example. Because offical tri-axle container trailer is wired. --- Post updated --- But, everything depend on yourself XD.
I'd like to do more axles for the tankers. I'm already thinking about a 60ft dryvan variant so why not some shorter ones? Also, what's wrong with the vanilla triple axle container trailer exactly? Just curious.
tripleaye, did ya see what the first thing i said in this section was? if so, hows your progress (show the pigeon trailer behind the pigeon and the small box utility trailers towed behind a covet
Suspension Jbeam is the worst --- Post updated --- My previous reply to this kept getting merged with the new one. Basically I'm already working on several things and need to finish what I've started before moving on to something else.
Soooo... BeamNG cars are MASSIVE... I started making this without ever having loaded a vehicle into the vanilla trailer. I just thought it would be neat to have an 8.5x34 ft enclosed trailer like we have IRL. The standard vanilla "cargo trailer" is already 2 meters or 8.5 ft wide so all I had to do was lengthen it... right? Well BeamNG cars are comparatively much bigger than it first appears. Just about every car in the game (or rather their IRL equivalents) would fit into a 8.5 ft wide space. Most cars are only about 6ft wide. Some of the largest SUV's like the Cadillac Escalade IQ is a massive 94 inches wide.. still only 7ft 10in. Given the games cars are proportional that means they're quite a bit longer too. So in short, it turns out my new trailer isn't as wide or as long as I wanted it to be.. lol RIP. I wonder if this is documented anywhere, was anyone else under the impression that scale was 1 to 1 with the real world? Nice for some smaller cars though
This has only just appeared in the thread today... for me at least, strange. This seems to have happened multiple times so I'm sorry to anyone that I've missed. I full screenshot of the entire Lua console would be more helpful. My mods don't include any Lua and I think it's safe to say that besides a completely broken mod there isn't much that such mods can do to cause "fatal" Lua errors *to my knowledge. I don't know much about Lua either but error itself seems more like a career mode bug and not a bug with the mods. The slotName specific line appears to reference a Jbeam part thats in your native language. There are certainly no parts within my mods with such a name. Again sorry for your troubles, if cleaning cache and reinstalling hasn't worked I would look further into the Lua Console. Thanks! Love what you're doing with the new truck, keep up the amazing work
There is no progress, I'm already working on several things as I already addressed in a previous reply to you. If that's something I'm interested in doing, then maybe I'll get to it but frankly I find you to be demanding and kind of rude so who knows.
New variant now fits your favorite drag beast and other race cars I decided not to take the easy route and just stretch the existing nodes of the vanilla trailer. Instead, I elected to create new Jbeam for the extended trailer meaning the trailer keeps the same deformation characteristics as the original. The additional nodes also naturally increase its weight. I also didn't want the trailer to be any wider than the vanilla trailers fenders (fenders included) so they have to protrude into the enclosed area. A little more involved work in blender but I like the result so far. The third axle definitely helps with heavier loads vs two however the suspension of the vanilla trailer is quite breakable. I may strengthen this a little or add slightly more heavy-duty option to the 34ft versions. To clarify the suspension is fine under normal driving and even sizable potholes, however, larger sharp vertical bumps like you would find with some curbs will definitely break things if going over 20mph. I find this to be relatively realistic behavior for the suspension and trailer type however I still may add a stronger version. I will definitely be strengthening the rear ramp.
