Your thoughts about the headlight texture?

 

They look really good, I would just soften the normal map a tad bit.

will it have working buttons???

 

If “normal map” refers to the lines on the lights then yeah it should definitely be softer (modding noob sorry)

 

I've been working on this mod for more than 6 months. So, you give the answer now, lol.

 

I've attached a video. Completed the light stuff. Don't mind the headlight housing normal map, I'm gonna fix it. Unfortunately, I can't use "materialEmissiveScaling" on tail light as it causes artifacts. I hope they fix that bug/glitch soon.

why would mack rebadge a renault when they had their own line of cabovers

 

all Mack trucks at the time were heavy-duty models and the Renault Magnum was a medium-duty truck

 

No, Magnum is heavy duty, I think you might be getting it confused with the smaller Midlum (which I’m pretty sure also had a Mack rebadged version.) Mack was partly owned by Renault at the time and since by the 90s Mack was no longer making on-highway cab overs, they instead rebadged the Renault Magnum for Australia and New Zealand. I believe Mack is also more widely recognized than Renault in those countries.
