    Hello,

I played the new update 0.3.7.6 and noticed that the noise the trees make was very loud, so I went into the settings while playing and moved the Effects slider. That made all sound stop and never come back. I already booted the computer and cleared the cache. When I change the Effects volume in the main menu, it's always at 0 and won't save . The audio provider and -device were both reset to OpenAL, but changing them back did nothing. I currently only have sound in the main menu.

I have this problem too, it's really annoying. Restarting the game doesn't fix it, going to try verifying cache and then try to find the settings file...#

Update: deleting the settings files in your documents/BeamNG seems to fix it for now.

We just removed all audio providers except directaudio, we'll see how good that works out within the next update :)

I had the same issue. Deleting the settings file does work, but I haven't found a way to lower the sound of the wind and trees.

I do also have this issue, now my settings are automatically set to 0 and I can't change this, every time when I change it it's just not saving the settings.

I just had the same issue. It wont get my sound back, even re-installing the game didnt help.

Where do I find the setting file?

Do I just delete it or do I need to replace it with a new one?
