Cost or financials need a little fixing imo. Bit harsh to have a near immediate loan payment come due right at the start. There isn't a single car I can afford after the loan takes my money.

I mean...you could just not speed in front of the cops? They're not overly hard to evade anyway (though it is harder than it used to be when they only had Grand Marshalls I'll grant you). There's a few bits of road dotted around the map that they don't/can't follow you down. A reliable one is if you go past Belasco Garage and the Quarryside dealership and turn off onto the dirt road that leads to the quarry itself, turn right up the hill before the road bends right and down (there's a small building, turn up the hill before you get to it). The police don't follow, you can take a breather there while waiting for them to lose track of you. Just try not to bend your car too hard while off-roading and all should be well!
So im running into a saving error. On the face of it it seems that its not saving the files however after removing the rls mod all of a sudden all the "unsaved" careers shiw up and are able to be loaded any ideas on how i can fix this ?
i do wanna keep adding more information, since ive been doing a lot of trial and error in the past few days still. the main culprit seems to be italy 1.4, i can start a new italy career no problem, but everything falls apart when i try loading my save again. this issue persists on both windows and linux, and stops happening only if rls italy is removed. that is not fixing the status heap corruption issue on windows, i genuinely suspect a deeper problem as im not the only person having these issues. but weirdly enough, rls career mode with the same modlist i had on windows has been working flawlessly on linux. only crashing in windows. ive nuked windows, my main OS now being mint 22.2 cinnamon and everything has been working ever since! odd isnt it... and support still brushes it off as mods... until they take this issue more seriously, more people will have this status heap corruption crash.
Anyone else having issues buying cars after inspecting? It says vehicle purchased but takes only some money and the car isn't actually owned.
Is there something I have to do to make delivery locations appear on maps other than west coast? I'm on italy and the delivery locations aren't on the map, and if I physically go to them they don't exist.
try reloading the map or restarting the game, I get the same issue when switching maps but after going into freeroam and then back into career, or restarting the game the delivery locations appear again.
Having the same issue. Having to reload the game each time. Sometimes twice, reload to get the map transfer to work then save then reload to get deliveries back.
As the two replies above say, you have to reload. I always switch map, go to a house and save, then exit the game, clear cache and start the game back up and load up the save. It works every time. It's a bit of an inconvenience but it's not exactly the end of the world either. Beam loves holding onto it's cache (to make loading quicker), so it's not really a problem with the mod, more a function of how the game works.
So I noticed a few things about this mod. 1st, freeroam car spawning is active. Kinda defeats the purpose of a career mode in my opinion. I will admit, i havnt tried spawning a car in vanilla career yet, but thats because, if you enable/disable the RLS mod, it breaks all your saves to the point of not even being able to delete them in game. I had to navigate to where the saves were to delete them manually. I feel you should be able to disable and reenable the mod whenever you want based on which version of career you wanna run without breaking all your saves. Last thing I noticed was when modifying a car in vanilla career, the camera locks to the car allowing you to circle the car easily with just the camera control, RLS does not. In RLS, you must walk around the car while modifying the car which can be disorienting. I apologize if someone has already pointed these out, but im not gonna read through 71 pages of comments to find out if any did.
How are you spawning a car. I did check, I don't have the UI option for the vehicle menu and pressing the shortcuts for that menu or config don't do anything.
