I am downloading cars and maps from recommended mod sites, but they don't appear in game. I have been searching through forums and google for hours trying to find a solution to this, but I have not been successful. I went through all of the steps to install the mods and they are in the vehicles category in my files, but won't show up in game. If there is a way to fix this or a solution to my problem, it would be much appreciated if you could help.

Cars need to be unzipped and have their folder put in: %whatever your beamng directory is%/vehicles. you should end up with %directory%/vehicles/whateveryourcarmodis
Levels: same thing, except instead of vehicles the folder is called levels.
Also, be careful where you download your mods from. there are websites stealing game models and honorably porting them to beamng. I recommend only downloading mods from our vehicles directory here.

The only recommended mod site is this one right here. There are some good mods elsewhere, but the quality will vary widely and some mods from external can end up damaging the vanilla content enough to need a reinstall. Modmakers here usually support their content enough to fix totally gamebreaking behavior. With that said, make sure you are unzipping your mods first. Unlike Rigs of Rods, BeamNG cannot read from archive files.

Thanks, I figured that out just a few minutes ago before I checked the thread again. I am really happy that the community here is nice enough to help people out.
