I'm starting to grow tired of dealing with hypocritical, brainrotten, terminally online idiots and narcissistic, selfish, arrogant pricks with a superiority complex on this toxic forum.
And you love giving your opinion when nobody asks you. You'll get used to it. :)
    --- Post updated ---
Are you stupid? It IS a problem when real life branding and models from other sources are involved.
And FYI, I don't bitch and moan over minor inconveniences unlike other braindead people. You (and everyone else) just refuse to listen and take everything I say out of context and twisting my words because you're so easily influenced and brainwashed since you think with your wallets instead of your brains. This is white knighting and astro turfing at its finest.
Keep coping and seething and cry about it.

Not meaning to hurt FastLane or even you in anyway, but I would be careful with that statement. Because even tho Nissan might not do anything, other companies like Mercedes, BMW, Volkswagen etc. were known to reach out the Devs of the Roblox Game Greenville (as an example), sending them an Ceast and Decist letter where they needed to comply with them to remove their models from RL Cars from their game, because of the same issue here with the Licensing Restrictions. And let me tell you: They do not care about their reputation around here, because we are a minority. They don't care if 10.000 people who play BeamNG or Roblox don't buy their cars anymore or have an vendetta against them when the mod get's deleted, since there are still millions of adults and young teens who would still choose Nissan for example everyday, because they like their cars and the brand by itself. And those companies mostly do it, since the RL Car Mods are considered "Free Advertising" where the companies don't get any money out of it, which they don't like. That's why Greenville needs to buy licensing rights for certain cars nowadays for example Renault, Audi, Land Rover etc. and even getting the allowance takes over half to an year.

But I agree fully with you on everything else. Like that ain't his trouble to decide. Like if the company has a problem with it, then their legal team will most likely handle it, but yeah. The fuss which Danny opened up about is unnecessary and again: ain't his to decide. And for my opinion, I bought the addon, because I liked the work FastLane and Kajto put into the Mod, 3€'s ain't that much for me and even without the add-on's his mod is still free and fully packed.

Regarding Greenville as an example is a bit questionable. Yes, they did reach out and they sure have done what they did, and only recently began adding licensed cars to the game (Renault was pretty unexpected but it's good) but there's a bit of a difference. Greenville is a game on a very popular platform that had them from the start, while this, along side many many many other IRL car mods are just that, mods, not official content and soully made by the players. I don't know if any mod that isn't a Ferrari has gotten a ceast and decist letter from a car company. I didn't got it for copying the Mazda CX-7 design and i haven't got slapped on the ass by Mazda Motor Corporation (Yes, you can get a ceast and decist even for copying the design, as proven with the chinese copycats), and i haven't seen any other mod not just for BeamNG to get the same treatment, paid or not.

But who knows, maybe they'll caught on to it in the future but even if it ever happens, i promise the moment it happens, it'll be a massive chaos for most IRL car modders and pretty much the players in general. But for now, any company that's not a Ferrari seems not to care much, and mods don't affect the sales of their products so it'd be pointless in every way.

Also, no worries, my feelings didn't got hurt, i just gave my opinion, but Danny shouldn't even bring this thing up otherwise this wouldn't happen. It was downright rude and unsupportive of FastLane's and Kajto's hard works of this mod. Danny calling others "hypocritical, brainrotten, terminally online idiots and narcissistic, selfish, arrogant pricks with a superiority complex" was very rude.

I didn't wanted to write all these stupidly and quite frankly useless posts but the sheer rudeness of theirs made me do it and explain to them otherwise.

With that said, I'd like to apologise for acting like an insufferable asshole lately.

With all due respect, I do have a life. If I find a paid mod I don't like (for whatever reason) or can't afford, I just move on with my life. Unlike what you're doing calling people names or getting triggered over people giving counterpoints. It's not your business in the slightest, if there are issues there are authorized people to deal with them professionally. Hope you realize that sooner rather than later.

Nice to see you're back so soon danny :)

And for once i agree with you, Shouldn't even be a question lol. it is against the terms of service of the forums and against the law to illegally rip any form of content for use in other "projects" ESPECIALLY considering the fact it does not matter if you give credit or not unless it is stated by the owner of said content that you can re-use, reshare or use in your own projects.... Shame people cant go to the extra few minutes of contacting the author and asking lmao

Indeed, if we really wanted to pick apart the addon though there are things that can and will put it in strife its

    - the Rouge Sport addon (trademark)
    - Nissan branded addon parts (should be obvious)
    - Nismo and other new special configs (trademark)
    - Apple Carplay and Android Auto stuff (can't call it that for, again, obvious reasons)

So yeah, Danny does have a point. Its just that, its none of his business to go a bit (or very) uncivil. Like I said in a previous message, if Nissan does have an issue, the legal team would be happy to serve FastLane and co a cease and desist (or something similar). Also, just don't buy the addon if you don't support such a thing. Paid mods aren't a bad thing in general, (its honestly been a thing for at least a decade now), its just that there are some bad examples out there. It just feels like one of those that try to find every reason to bring down paid mods, even those that are perfectly legal and of good quality.
