Car working without engine

Isn't something weird when car can drive without engine and front wheel? If engines cannot work underwater why they are working wireless outside the car?

There are five images on Imgur actually. You can watch them by selecting above screenshot.

 

The game engine has a default engine value given to cars when the engine is removed, mainly for early vehicle testing, I'd imagine.

And I think props would break the game engine without being assigned a false engine.
