better do it soon! as the Ansairs are getting replaced by Denning Elements, I suspect they will be out of service in 2026 --- Post updated --- also @MrRadYT, I have been using the Man D2066 paire with Voith 4 speed and I have a question. When shifting from 1st to 2nd, there is a 2 second window where the gearbox doesn't know what to do and shifts back and forth between 1 and 2. This is especially obvious when the going up a slope, the gearbox constantly shifts between 1 and 2. Is that a feature? or am I doing anything wrong?
At the moment, I am working on V8.0 of the Wentward Transmission Pack, and then after that, I will do the DSC11. It's sad how Ansairs are being replaced with a failure prone electric version that only works half the time That wouldn't be your fault. The D2066 plus the Voith has some weird logic that I'll be having a look at in V8.0. Sometimes it doesnt like how 1st and 2nd are so close together, and the game creating shift points depending on the torque curve can make some weird ideas. Like how in the ZF Ecomat 604/C, the D2066, when on kickdown, shifts out of 4th at 1700RPM. The MAN 18.310 does that in real life too, so I'm not complaining about that one though. Thanks for the report though! I'll have a look once I get the new ZF's all done
Not yet either. The transmission pack is my main concern, so I'm trying to get that done, but finding sounds are being a pain. Especially for the ZF 600 series. They sound so unique its almost impossible to replicate
Just curious, do these engines work with the Wentward Expansion Pack configs? (the articulated ones mainly)
No, not at the moment. I could add support though, like I did for the transmission pack. At the moment though, the transmission pack is my main priority, so the next engine update won't be until that's done
