You're not supposed to but that rule seems pretty lax anyway as I see plenty of real life cars that are still paid and I don't see any actions from staff, as far as I know.
It's more leaned towards non-scratch content, most paid mods with real branding are from other games. Modders such as LJ or Dennis W have offered paid mods that featured branding, albeit scratch made through actual effort. What we see here however, is a janky K-Series using a likely Forza-sourced model and undoubtedly stolen features- noting the power windows it claims to have. Also any time you see "100% jbeam" mentioned in a description you just know it's not going to be good, if it had 75% jbeam would it just be missing a fourth of its nodes!?!
This is true, but that still doesn't change the fact that making paid mods with IRL branding is unethical. LJ has never made paid mods with IRL branding. Still, I prefer waiting for the ETK F-Series to come out of early access.
Challenger is paid, currently. Nothing wrong with that. Who cares if someone makes something completely scratch and keeps branding? The whole issue with paid real cars is primarily the fact that they're 99.9% ports minus the 2 examples I mentioned prior.
Goes against your whole argument because in the end it's accepting payment for something with a brand. There's nothing wrong with scratch made paid content, only with stuff that isn't, like this thread

Obviously, there are a few modders that are jealous and do not know anything about Jbeam and nodes or proper coding. This is a genuine mod and very few mods have the features that have built into this mod. This mod has not been stolen from any game and has been produced from scratch and the claims that we make are backed up by the quality of the mod, everything works as it should. There seems to be a little club here that doesn't want any other new modders to embarrass their work and hence they like to bag other people's mods with false claims and lies that cannot be backed up. You guys are only making a rod for your own back by these unhelpful comments. People will see this forum as a little club, and this will restrict modders coming in with good mods to make the game and forum even bigger and give it more variety, hence it will be a better game. Hopefully BeamNG Drive will see this little boys club and ban you guys so you do not restrict the growth and fun of this great game.
Good news: the ETK-F Series is on the repo. So you don't have to worry about paid irl mods (OK I WAS UNDERESTIMATING IT IT WAS AUTOMATION)

Please, mate... we are seeing the j-beam, it's made of barely 50 triangles... don't make a mess of yourself and show us some footages of your 100% ultra-giga complete car after a heads on collision with a wall, it would be way more in your favor rather than attacking people who saw that kind of spiky crap models flooding the forum over the years and can't be fooled anymore
