    Hi,
I performed tests between normal directx renderer and vulcan renderer, Unfortunately on my system with rtx 2060 and r7 3080x
the vulcan solution is completely unusable on a latest nvidia driver at 1440p,
While directx is stutter and glitch free :)
    Ps.
    While your at it.
Please fix awful loading times on the ssd drive
    Thank you Dan

6GB of VRAM is not enough for 1440p with Vulkan. Try setting textures to low and try again.

This sounds like you're running out of video memory. Check your VRAM usage, if it hits 6gb you're running out of memory.
DirectX has built in handling for this by spilling into the system memory, but Vulkan has none of that. Texture streaming is the first step to prevent completely filling the VRAM, but everything else the game needs can still fill 4gb on complex levels on its own.

As user above said, you are likely running out of memory. Could you tell us which maps did you try. Do you have anything running in background?
Sadly, in Vulkan API, running out of memory will cause quite bad performance, and it's normal behavior :(
