Early Access UPDATE v1.0.3 it be update time! here are the patch notes: - Added performance carburetor intake for v8's - Added sport and high performance intakes for i4 Added T800 turbocharger for i4 - Added high performance exhaust - Added side pipe turbo exhausts for T800 and stage 4 turbos - Added hood exit exhausts for stage 2 & 3 turbos - Added dry sump for v8's - Added antilag - Updated uel header noise - Updated stage 2 and 3 turbo meshes - Updated cone filter textures
I think we need at least a single i6 for this mod. The closest we have is the I6 diana mod but that has mid models and really bad sounds
Early Access UPDATE v1.0.4 Helo, new update :3 and im inching ever closer to finishing the v8, so with the next update there will finally be more I5 parts All Important Patch Notes: - Added Chrome/titanium/colorable strut braces - Added Retextured and Spinning serpentine belts to all engines - Added Supercharger to V8's (with twincharging ability) - Added Variable torque converter - Added Dual exhaust manifolds to all engines - Added Tuner exhaust and more exhaust tip variants (more to come) - Added Power Bulge Hoods (to fit the V8 supercharger) - Updated Stage 3 turbo model - Updated ITB intake model - Updated a couple textures in general - Updated Sounds for cut struts and changed name to Cheap Cut Struts - Renamed Sock filters to Foam filters - Moved all hoods to their own slot (JAVI's Hoods)
I've been enjoying the repo version thus far, and I can't wait for these improvements to come to the free version. Quick question, will you add more turbocharger types to the mod? The bypass anti-lag logic on the Sunburst (which I presume is used here) will only work if I floor it first until it makes boost, and the pressure from the charge air is the one that ultimately spins the turbine. This does work, but not very practical for low RPM cruising and pulling like in career mode delivery missions. I was thinking something along the lines of dual volute/twin scroll turbo and VGT, those two will make low RPM cruising more responsive (especially VGT) without having to floor it and I get funny noises at half throttle at like 3-4K RPM. There's a 2GTz/VR30/RB25 swap mod on the repo that has a pretty solid variable geometry turbo logic in it, I'd love to see this on the BX engine remake mod for real. Many thanks once again Javi.
holy late re holy late reply, my bad i completely forgot to check in here. but i'll look into it, i would rather not make separate turbos for just that, instead have extra tuning options for the inducer/exducer of each turbo since all that would be internal anyhow. More turbos will be added in general tho, more focused on size, amount and position
I know this has probably been asked a million times, but I'm really wondering if you're planning on adding any I6 options (maybe JZ or RB inspired ones). Feel like it'd suit the car since 1JZs are pretty common swaps for these S chassis'
Early Access UPDATE v1.0.5 [Small Content Update and Hotfix]This is mainly a bug fix update, i didn't wanna wait forever to fix some of the little issues that arose with beamng v0.37 but everything that has been in the works since, is now present and still lots more to do. im honestly thinking i might split it up and update the repo version with just the updated I4 stuff sometime soon. just so it doesn't have to sit around with broken materials for months then the V8's and I5 will be added later once they are far enough along - Added big strut bar (colorable) - Added blast pipe tips to straight pipe exhaust - Added I5 oil coolers - Added I5 Stage 4 Turbocharger - Added I5 oil pans - Added dry sump oil pan impact on engine performance (better oil cooling and top end hp) - Adjusted I5 internals - Fixed wrong foam filter location on V8 supercharger - Fixed texture issues from beamNG v0.37
if I buy it now will I have access to later updates or will I just have to wait until the free version releases?
this is my build. I call it the Rat Rod. It has 533HP, 737TQ, from a 4.5 V8 and weighs 1414KG. (Mods used, Ibishu plus and BX-Series Engine Remake (Early Access))
