New mod repository :)

when you click the update all mods, the ones that have updates automatically start downloading, a button to "show update info/show changelog" could be interesting

 

I'm genuinely surprised this still isn't a feature. It's a pain to go all the way to the website just to look at a mod update changelog.

 

My only complaint is that this looks far too generic. I'm assuming the visuals aren't fully done tho.
Pretty much, it gave a nice sense of openness having the Beam main menu show whilst browsing mods. The fonts and color just don't match anything in game rn. The changelogs would be nice to see too.

And of course mod packs would be great, pop-ups to say "OI, you need this mod too!" for stuff like KLJP and Urbanmaid's mods that needs the core pack.
Then being able to have multiple people credited as mod creator would be noice.

 

I think there should be a separate category for demo versions of paid mods, so it's easier to distinguish whetever you're downloading a full mod or just a demo

 

Idk a security checkmark for mods that have been confirmed to be well optimized and verified as safe. A green checkmark over a lock icon as "safe mod for multiplayer" etc idk. Like the wingeon or something. Not trying to start a debate or anything. Just put something reassuring in there for people that want to go after really well done mods specifically. Like its own category of mods that are safest for beginners. Idk. Im not a mod expert ;-;

 

Considering that multiplayer is a mod, I doubt the official repository would have markings for it
