A recap of what we'll likely see in version 0.37 - Hamster Wheel - A machine that spins cars or something - Gavril Grand Marshall: Limousine Variant - Glow Brakes - Car Trampoline - Bubbles
at the latest teaser everyone was focused on bubbles, but what if Johnson Valley will get an expansion or revamp?
A revamp? No. An expansion? Very possible. Johnson Valley is mainly boring to play since it barely has anything there tbh. Take a look at West Coast, USA and Italy. People still play those maps cause they have a lot of things. My suggestion for a Johnson Valley expansion is to add maybe like a forest and add more things to it.
I highly doubt it, since it is the latest Beam vanilla map. And in my opinion, if the devs wanted to focus on maps again besides the usual WCUSA tweaks, they would probably make a whole new and unique one, especially after they admitted that their maps situation is not the best right now by staff picking someone who made a thread about it.
I highly doubt, it is the most recent map and the map team seems busy with WCUSA. Also there is nothing really to add, it is perfect for those who like offroading, maybe others find it boring but I find it fit for purpose.
I don't think they will remaster or add new things to Johnson Valley, firstly the map is still new and secondly the devs are more focused on updating the West Coast --- Post updated --- The Johnson Valley map is still good, I think it doesn't need any redesign at the moment, maybe in a few years, but not now.
Well Johnson Valley in real life is located near LA, and Belasco is likely close to LA, inbetween LA and San Francisco. So we could very well get it in career mode, meaning it could be updated. Small island is also in California, so it could also be featured in career mode. You can use lua to switch maps, so it is entirely possible.
Or what AgentMooshroom5 did with the INFRA ports (made it so you can switch maps with the click of a button) which was based on the garage map test drive code
that sounds like a good idea but I personally think having to go to the sections of interstate construction to travel between maps would be cool maybe they could even hook utah into the other end of johnson valley if they add a 3rd highway tunnel maybe even the ability to use certain maps airports to travel to any map you want (as long as it has an airport) there is all sorts of ways the travelling could be explained then beaming career mode could stretch between all the maps even the non USA ones maybe even restrict euro model cars in a dealership to Italy and us cars to the usa (private market could still be used to buy a car regardless of region)
Ya having a highway that you drive on as a transition would be so cool, I hope that is added to connect the California maps.
Well, if West Coast is San Francisco and Johnson Valley is near LA, that would be a pretty long highway!
I don't think that one teaser was a trampoline. The sunburst looked a little too floaty to be on a trampoline. I think it was the bubbles / forcefield thing seen in the teaser after that one
