Been a week since the last teaser, but since I'll be going to Italy for two weeks tomorrow and obviously can't work on my mods during that time, I decided to give you some more updates on the progress of the big Middle East update: First up: Cyprus rework After already having reworked the TRNC plates, I've also started reworking the Cypriot plates. Currently, I've only reworked three types of the current series but all the other ones will come too when I'm back (as well as the old series) Second: Iran update Iran was the latest addition to this mod and together with my Swiss and Liechtenstein plates, they are the only plates in current state that match my current quality standard, so luckily no need to rework those. However, the next update will also add some previously missing plate types. What I've added so far are older international travel plates (2006 - 2010 and 2010 - 2015) and working temporary plates Tomorrow I will post the last teaser before going to Italy in which I'll show you some progress of the Jordan rework as well as introduce a completely new country to this mod (can anyone guess which one? ) Oh and also I'm happy to announce that me and some other modders (@-Smaen-, @htnv, @rukatsunderi, @AdamPLGames, @PanHubert to name some) have started a license plate modding Discord server, mainly for better communication and cooperation among us. Any chance for square versions of the Cyprus plates one day? Would be nice to be able to properly recreate the average japanese import cypriot rental car to bomb about in All of the work going on here looks great too, the dedication to making so many accurate plates is honourable.
That was actually the reason why so far I've only completed the EU versions of the "regular" types of modern Cypriot plates. Me and @-Smaen- are still trying to properly apply the new materials from 0.35 to our custom models, but when we're done those will of course be added too and I'll also make the rest of the Cypriot plates. I'm very very glad you like my work, that's what keeps me motivated
Back to school and back to modding again! Unfortunately, with the start of the new school year I don't have all that much time for modding any more and won't have any time during the upcoming autumn holidays either, as I'll be on vacation in Denmark the entire time. Hello again! I'm very happy to announce that alongside Qatar, another new country will enter the mod in the next update: Iraq! The background of the license plates will automatically change depending on whether you entered an Iraqi or a Kurdish regional code. With the release of the next update, only the 2022 series will be included. The 2008 will follow in a later update. Let me know what you think!
