Since March 2025, I’ve been working on a full rework and expansion of TwiXeR’s original Porsche 911 mod, bringing the entire 992.2 generation into BeamNG.drive with a new level of detail and refinement.

This mod includes all major 992.2 variants, fully remastered and improved:

• Carrera / Carrera S / Carrera 4 / Carrera 4S
  
• Targa / Cabriolet
  
• GTS / GT3
  
• Exclusive trims, limited editions, and more

Just a question, TwiXer's original 992 has almost all the openables except the one at the tailgate, will this new one have an openable tailgate?

 

No It is not openable But I do have it my plans for my next update!

Did you get permission from twixer to use his work and the assets?

 

I hope it handles better than Twixer's. I loved the models but they did not handle like 911s.

but the configs are the same, nothing new about them

 

I don't know if you know it (you probably do) but if want to do the thumbnails properly go to showroom and click on thumbnail generator and then the green one for all configs

Are there plans for the Dakar? Also are the thumbnails just placeholders?

 

Can't wait for this. I would love to see the 911 992 Sport Classic be included in the mod. That's my favourite model from the Porsche 911 lineup. Also, are you planning on making all the thumbnails on the mod look the same? I would appreciate that.

Yeah i will prolly make it but a bit after the realse of the mod

 

I will make all the thumbnails look the same and I have made the sport classic all I need to do for it is it's livery, badges and seats

 

Tbh the 992's engine choices do not have much, but rather different ECU tunes are there, here are them and feel free to use them since originally TwiXer didn't put it inside.

 

If possible, can you also use a different sound for the engines? Perhaps Hellraiser's 911 engine sound or this sound mod on the forums:
