I'm working on replacing the internals of my old PC specifically for BeamNG, and my planned specs are: MSI RX 570 4G Ryzen 5 1600 MSI A320M/B350M (or 500 if I can afford it) Having 16 gigs of RAM would allow me to stick with the cheaper A320/520 motherboards, but I could get another 16G stick for $20. Is it worth the extra $40 or so to have the B350/550 motherboards and 32G of RAM? Of course it would take longer to save the money for the motherboard especially considering I'm spending more on the RAM, but I just wondered if it was worth it. Thanks in advance --- Post updated --- I forgot to specify that the A320/520 has two RAM slots while the B350/550 has four. And also if I got the B350/550 and had four slots, I'd have an empty one since I have 2 8G sticks right now and I can only get a 16G stick.
16gb of ram is possible, btw not recommended for beamng specially recent beamng versions and that rx 570 4gb is not getting any driver update, so I can say its dead gpu cuz so old and for cpu its 1600 btw im recommend getting at least 3000 series
I'm on a budget here. Got the RX 570 for $45 and the 16G of RAM that I have was $20, so yeah I know a Ryzen 5 3600 would be better for my computer but it would be worse for my wallet. I just need the cpu and need to pick the motherboard and get it to be done and I just need to know if it's worth it to get the extra RAM. It would also only run at single channel if I got the 16gig stick. I guess it really depends on how much money I have when school gets out
Somehow the A520M motherboards are cheaper than the A320Ms lol so unless I somehow get a lot of money for a B550M and the extra RAM i will stick to 16 (which is better than having 15GB of DDR3-1333 like I have now)
yes en in this time 32gb min req but with mods go for 64gb i play with mods and it uses all the 32gb ram and lowers my fps to 10-30 and i tested it out with a slower sticks with my 32gb and it made a big improvement
How many mods do you even have? They don't affect my performance with 20GB of DDR3-1600 and 100 or so mods
Yes you do, you start adding in traffic, or large levels and yes system ram more than 16Gb is going to be needed
You havent tried spawning lots of traffic have you? I can spawn 50 cars in los injurus and see 5gb of system ram use increase just from that alone
You doubt it would matter? So basically making up BS statements and can't back them up? Sounds about right about most people around here.
