Checkpoint measurement does not work in hottlapping. The measurement at the finish line is working. As far as I can remember, this problem has been occurring since around 0.33. I have tried safe mode and reinstalling, but no improvement. Am I the only one experiencing this problem?
I hope this also applies to the Miramar coupe skin issue I brought up a week or two ago. Someone just released a mod that addresses that, but I'd rather it be vanilla since I don't believe in relying on mods to fix base-game bugs (especially since I have another Miramar mod to fill the content gap with an I6).
Finally found a way to load into all maps on Steam Deck in gaming mode! It was related to the Steam Deck's built in framerate-cap. This also explains why there were no problems in desktop mode, as there is no cap applied here. It's kind of a workaround, so I hope you can replicate the issue on your Steam Deck and maybe supply a hot fix
Hey the Covet Street Tuned config blows up its engine of overtorque with the use nitrous after a very short run so you might wanna check on that Also it would be cool to be able to open the engine cover in the mid-engined "Mr Turbo" Covet variants And as my final rant: why does the mirror in the race, rally and lightweight interiors have significantly better resolution than the one in the normal variants? Ah, this is because race car drivers need significantly better mirrors, while normal drivers do not, so therefore racing teams spend extra money on 4K mirrors!

Why not try ray tracing? The game already requires a lot of resources for dynamic reflections, if we're talking about a school bus with 5 or more dynamic mirrors... it's a tantrum. Hello dear forum, since the 0.36x update I can no longer open BeamNG, this window keeps appearing. I have informed myself in other forums and Reddit posts with similar errors, but I don't know what to do now. I have already tried various uninstallations and reinstallations, and I have also checked the files for errors on Steam. I even reset my entire computer to factory settings, but nothing has worked. Please help me. Edit: it didnt work after start in "safe mode" and a "standard/deep clean"
Some of the lower revving gas engines in cars like the d series and 200bx should get their own automatic or something. What i mean is with for example the 423 d series when full throttle the transmission will smash the rev limiter before shifting which doesnt feel right. Same with the us spec 2.4 liter i4 200bx. I know its probably to reduce part clutter but it bothers me so i usually avoid driving those cars lol.
No, you are not - I can confirm that this issue has happened for a while on my end, even with no mods, cleared cache, cleared times, and a fresh install. I don't know why the hotlapping app works in the career-mode races and time trials, but not in the regular ones. To be fair, there hasn't been any new time trials in years (there aren't any for Johnson Valley, despite that map having plenty of time trials in the map and being almost 3 years old), so that part's probably no longer maintained as much.
