Hey, I know it sounds a little confusing, but i meant something like a Mk3 from 2004, because i think the 96' pessima needs kinda a remaster or a newer model.
travel trailer refresh no joke: there no openable door or trap, no pbr and not very high quality model and texture
Some of these ideas are probably too big to see them in .37 but I figured I'd share em anyway and see what sticks y'know? I'd personally like a moonhawk remaster, something that adds some variants that make it like some 60s and 70s boats, Chrysler Imperial, Cadillac Eldorado, y'know, 2 and 4 door cars with hoods and trunks so long they end up longer than the XL Roamer lmao. The Moonhawk iirc has been pretty much the same since it was introduced save for fixes to it, it feels like the quality is a lot lower than the other models. I think the rest of the cars are pretty much caught up now, the Miramar and Burnside just got a refresh this update, The Barstow and Hopper could use some touching up but they're not too far out of quality level with the other cars. I know the Burnside just got a refresh this update (Wish I had known it was going to before I posted my suggestions in the suggestions thread lol) But I'd like to see a Straight 8 in the game for it and the Nine. Also for gods sake a rollback car hauler for the MD lol. I know I'd also personally like to see the career be implemented on East Coast or Italy, but that's probably a lot of work since the career is still in progress anyways. Speaking of maps, these are a long shot but a new map might be fun, thinking maybe an Asian type of map? A Japanese style for example? Or, like Motortown did with Jeju, size down the island of Jeju, South Korea into a workable area? Another idea could be an alaska or canadian, or siberia kind of map, something with a lot of snow and iced over rivers, pretty mountains to look at, just an overall scenic map with maybe a little alpine village in the mountains. Lastly I think a police mode for career mode could be fun, give the player the ability to put police spec cars to use by pulling over AI cars and ticketing them and such. This would need a mode for the AI to have some cars randomly break laws in normal traffic and seeing as traffic can be laggy for some people It's probably not the best idea to go all in on, but it could be fun to play with if implemented.
While I agree that the '96 Pessima could probably do with more content (it is one of the few post-1980 unibody passenger cars to not have all-wheel-drive as an option - the Covet, Bolide, and BX also lack AWD, but I can understand why the latter two lack it), I'm not sure that the devs intend on making a Mk3 Pessima (or any other generation, for that matter). There were plans for a 1994 Pessima many years ago, but I think the devs would rather prefer to make all-new vehicles than another generation of an already-existing vehicle (that isn't just a facelift), at least at the moment. While I think a Moonhawk remaster/refresh could happen in 0.37, I don't think we'll be getting variants of it that are as large as those cars. Those would likely have to be on an all-new platform (or a longer version of the Moonhawk's frame), at which point they'd pretty much be all-new vehicles. I wouldn't mind getting something like an Imperial or Eldorado - those would be great for demo-derbies. I think a straight-eight (if it happens officially - getting good sounds for one of those is more difficult than for a V8) would be reserved for something a bit more special than the Burnside or Nine. I'm not sure exactly what that could be, though. And yeah, I'm not sure why the MD doesn't have a rollback upfit yet - the T-, H-, and D-Series all have one. You might be interested in this post from Krallopian, where he answers both of these points. I believe the devs are working on a new map, but it won't be ready for a while. Yeah, the travel trailer deserves at least something after all these years.
One thing that immediately came to mind when messing around with the new school bus body is that having interactible compartment doors on the ambulance upfit would be really good.
i think beamng needs to focus on euro stuff rn, as the united states of eagle centric stuff is getting pretty boring
i think we need a french 60-70s luxe car or a 40s luxe or light or 90s light or coupe german or italian car or british brand
Same thing I always want: more race content Expand on the rally content. Get heavier into track racing content. GT4/GT3 variants of more cars, or bespoke racing cars. Another race track map like hirochi, maybe
for v0.37, I would like a 26-foot MD-Series chassis. 18 feet feels too short for a medium-duty truck, and most of the medium-duty box trucks I see are 26 feet long
I think it would be great if developers and modders worked together. for exemple if a modder make good mods and are very inventive beamng team could ask for the modder to work with them
For us rock crawling folks (we exist!) 4 things I'm hopeful for in a future update: Official rear steer for crawlers Better terrain deformation, dirt physics Vehicles get visibly dirtier the more you play in the mud Better small object/rock physics (example: crawling around in Johnson Valley and sending rocks flying)
if they really want to make the simplest possible for the mud on the car they can make an invisible mud texture on the car that are more visible when you drive in a "dirty" zone
no joke but really: beamng need to have more interactive environement like: fuel pump, shop, restaurant (ok not at this point) but if we have fuel pump, why not ?
Would be cool another European map, because rn we only have the Italy map, idk, something like a small British town or German map with an Autobahn.
