  2. Chevrolet Caprice & Impala (Will be made into separate cars)

Absolutely my favorite BeamNG vehicle mod of all time. One minor change I would like to see is the overdrive auto having a D-3-2-1 selector that would have been available as a factory pattern:

Also noticed that the manual floor shifter seems to weigh ~8lbs more than the whole center console:

When will the Presidental Limo make a return? It was in the original oldsfullsize mod.

A bit of progress, managed to add all the Chevy hood variants, all openable. And merged all of the earlier fixes and tweaks by other people into my version of the mod. Next will be Impala nosecone and lights. Once all parts are in, it will be time for the weight tuning.

One of the main issues with that is that BeamNG doesn't have a 3rd Gear/Drive gear selector option. Some mods do have a 3rd gear mod using LUA, but I'm not an expert in that field at all.

Tried recreating my dad's old '82 Pontiac Bonneville Safari in Beam, this is the closest I could get.
Man can only dream for the Pontiac nosecone...

Edit: Finally done with 2FA so enjoy my poorly shot picture xD

Kinda off topic but I googled that car and accidentally found out about yet another Caprice rebadge, the 1987-1990 Pontiac Safari. Apparently after the Parisienne was discontinued, they just rebranded the wagon version as Safari and kept selling it with some minor differences lol

I suppose that wouldn't be too hard to add then, right? You would only need to add the different grille and headlights (at least, that's all the differences I can see).

I'm not sure if anyone noticed, but the drip rails should be chrome.

This is a picture from back in 2006 (i was around a year old, time flies) so it may not be the hightest of quality

Would you be open to add the other GM vehicles that used this platform or will it solely be just Oldsmobile and Chevrolet

I think it might just stay as Oldsmobile and Chevrolet only, since it seems the team is focused on modernising the mod first above all else. Most, if not all, of the non-Olds or Chevy parts would need to be custom-made by someone since hardly any 3D models exist, if any at all, at least from where I've looked.

According to Wikipedia, the Iraqi 1981 Malibus came with a combination of the lowest-spec offerings, with the 110-horsepower carbureted V6 and 3-speed manual transmission (w/floor shifter). They also came with AC, a heavy-duty cooling system, AM-FM cassette deck, front bench seat, 200 km/h speedometer, tweed and vinyl upholstery, and 14-inch body-color steel wheels with small hubcaps.
So yes, while there are a few different changes, it would be relatively easy to recreate it with a custom config. Also, fun fact: They didn't end up shipping all of them out, so they just sold the rest of the surplus to Canadian citizens for $6,800.
