There isn't a Stellantis equivalent in the game, so I think that every current car company is independent. I don't think that Cherrier and Autobello are both under one big corpo. If there will ever be a new brand similar to Pontiac, then we have confirmation that GM-equivalent exists in the Beam universe.

    But I still wonder...
Why are there no numbered roads on the Italy map, even the smallest islands in Italy have at least one Provincal route, yet somehow this random island has one motorway (that is not up to standard, so it is likely a spur motorway), which more than what the entire region of Sardinia has, and why are there no abandoned buildings? Do people not move out of Castelletto to go live in Norte or smth?

why was the Industrial Area abandoned?
same goes for Small Jungle Island, why was it abandoned?
it has a resort, an observatory, and even an airfield, as others already said, i think it was involved in ww2 in some way (the AA cannons and Bunkers further extend that)

If I remember correctly, the bus stops used to be on the left side until they updated the map and actually put them on the right, it is theorized that Hawaii was taken over by the Japanese during WW2, also, the existence of bus routes indicates that the public transport system is still active somehow (since you can actually pick up passengers), so the island isn't really abandoned, it's just in really bad shape.

The industrial area, is located on a mainland, so it means that was owned by some corporation who closed down the area.
