To be fair, and to show respect to the underage people that play this game... My 7 year old nephew plays Beam constantly, with a Logitech G29 and no driver assistants.
Its when 12 year olds are on the forums that issues start to arise. A 5 year old can play the game, but shouldn't be on the forums.
