Personally I feel the D-15 Derby comes with issues.. If I make new ones I need to learn how to make a roll-cage and I need to make the welds on parts capable of breaking under high-speed impacts so it doesn't look so spiky near parts like the hood, which I can do. [Edit: If it did make one I plan to make it for the fullsize after the racing fullsize or a mod that comes after the racing fullsize] Also, to those who requested an offroad fullsize, I attempted to make one a while ago, the wheels explode the suspention and the steering in the front almost no matter what. if not than the steering steers them backwards into themselves, literal oversteer ]
Re: Light Jbeam Mod Suggestions If you did make one the full size would have been what I would've asked you to do. Just a suggestion maybe you could make one full size and have different versions like a derby full size and a racing full size in the same mod. If you don't want to that's cool.
So I recently found out something from running into a thread on the forums here. I used the info for my truck since half-way through development. They said to someone that was making a car mesh for BeamNG that they needed to use the blender smooth shading button, I never thought that it would work out so well in-game... I figured that would of caused weird texturing or something.. but of course when I seen that I had to try it! THE RESULTS! Ultimate-Rally-Covet-Re-Release-26-1-2015 NO TEXTURES WE'RE ALTERED! Translation: My modeling is now vastly improved by the click of a button Edit: Is it just me or has no one been replying on my threads? I see alot of people who grab a brand new mod and download it without even leaving a thanks or even long-awaited feedback. When I release a mod, I usually just can't wait for feedback, but most people ever don't have time or just don't seem to care enough to leave some, not trying to rant here but I'd love to see an increase in feedback towards us volunteering modders.
Now that I feel confident that I've done enough for the D-15 Racing Truck I feel good enough to move on, but if I am going to do a Grand Marshal Circuit I am gonna need inspiration for the spoiler and parts, and enough support that you guys truly believe this is what you want, I'd also be putting on a splitter of which I already know how I am gonna do.
Maybe you could do something like this (quick edit, not the best quality ). I guess it's not really "circuit", but would be nice to see. Maybe also do a spoiler and front end like what they did here?
Nah more along the lines of a V8 Supercar but that gives me some ideas... Nascar Grand Marshal someone make it pls
That is promising, but the Grand Marshal is being delayed, I have decided to work on my old pickup derby and improve it, as well as make it skin-able, use exp wheels, use the st engine model, jbeam the exhaust, redo the i6 exhaust and have smooth models. this should be done in a week, in the mean time, keep the ideas coming. - - - Updated - - - In the middle of changing the D-15 Derby over to be compatible with the normal pickup, I created a monster, this was created while testing it on a normal truck... [this is like 10 medium speed hits from different angles on 1 spawned truck]
