Well, I'm currently stress testing my new GPU and power supply. After that, I'll go back to try to fix BeamNG
My bus did not turn up this morning due to snow. There was a snow fight at the bus stop, until someone got hit in the face (by a hand containing snow) resulting in a nose bleed. I got a lift in after waiting for 40 mins. This afternoon i had a recording session with a guitarist to record them for my music tech coursework. Overall a fairly decent day so far, i think i might chill out a bit this afternoon.
Well, i did a photoshop render: (imported from here) Going for sort of a shooting brake look, here's a look at my incredibly rough cad model: (imported from here) - - - Updated - - - Actually, while i'm here i could use some help; above is supposed to be a high performance FMR layout (front-mid engined, rear wheel drive) Ford (for the future, so its all electric unfortunately), but it needs a name. Anyone got any ideas? Maybe something with a bit of heritage, while still maybe referencing its electric credentials?
Ford Cathode, Ford Voltage, Ford Cell, Ford Arc, Ford Breaker, Ford Surge, Or my favorite, the Ford Impulse.
Whoops didn't catch the Ford hidden in that sentence, was confused. Tough to name an electric car since there has been a failed attempt named after pretty much every electrical term lol
Well, I've finally got around to getting the experimental version of the game (I had been using the pre-steam version up until a few days ago). It is very nice. I then proceeded to break the experimental version. Luckily, I fixed the problem, after some faffing around. Top tip: Do not edit "wheels.dae". If you do, check the material assigning for each part
I remembered that (we haz multi dae now), unfortunately for me, this was after Blender decided to assign new materials to the wheels, causing loss of textures :/ Duely noted for next time though
My (computer) mouse is dying (g500). I like this mouse, might have to ebay a new g500s since they dont make mice of this side button layout any more. Much sadness. The new g502 model has different layout and is £62, twice the price i paid for my g500. Very few mice these days have 3 buttons on the side, pretty much none with smooth scroll.
Bizarre, my mouse has been causing problems all today for the past 5 hours, its now working again. Hopefully the issue doesn't come back.
I absolutely love my G500, which is why i was freaking out when it stopped working this morning. The feature set is awesome. Having a row of three buttons on the side is something that i love and the ability to switch between clicky and smooth scroll is something that my life is incomplete without. It also looks far nicer than the new logitech stuff in my opinion. The graphics on the top look awesome without making it look gamerfied. So it looks nice and smart which is what i like. http://img.gfx.no/645/645042/15995.1.0.png On topic: Currently working on putting the instructions for exporting the database into my program, gotta make sure it looks pretty in the process of course, whats the point in adding them if they dont look cool in the process
Yeah, my dad has a G500. I think it feels a bit better than my G402 to hold, but I prefer using mine. I haven't used a G502 so I can't really say anything about the feel.
Yet you all talk about gaming mice and keyboards, yet I use a badly used keyboard and a Onn wireless mouse. :C
