Automated testing. How it works is you have a work.json file in your user folder with the name of the car and config you want to test (for example "sunburst2" and "rally_pro_gravel"), and once you launch the game (or at any point while the game is open, but your mileage may vary), hit the tilde key to open up the console, and enter or paste the following command: extensions.load('util_worker') That'll load the Automated Testing map, along with the vehicle referred to in the JSON file, and the AI will put the car through its paces along a linear offroad course followed by a straight strip of asphalt, after which the game will automatically close. The process is a bit time-consuming and I don't know of any ways to batch-automate it for lots of configs, but it's definitely preferable to manually entering all of the performance stats in. However, there is the caveat that a few important bits, such as the config's front-end name (what you see in the menu) and value (which determines sorting), must always be entered manually. Thumbnail generation is a separate process, but that can be batch-automated.
