Switching to beta

Hello all,

I am very new to BeamNG Drive (So please tell me if I'm doing something wrong), and I am trying to switch to the beta version of BeamNG through steam. I followed all the instructions through the instructions on the wiki page, but it says its updating and takes about 30 minutes. Then after I launch the game the process repeats and I end up wasting another 30 minutes . I tried contacting support but it isn't letting me...

Possibly an issue with your internet connection or Steam? Try restarting Steam and making sure your internet connection is active. If the problem persists, try reinstalling the game through Steam.

 

I had the same problem, follow the steps that tdev or rydog has provided in this thread. Can-t-Update-to-0-3-6-9

 

Fixed the problem, re installed without anti-virus.
