Sorry for the lack of updates on the thread, but just as a reminder, join the Discord server to get the latest news on the mod. With that said, not much has happened over the past year since I've been busy with other projects. I plan on releasing the update soon, which will include powertrain improvements by A12_Roadrunner, revised configs, and other minor things. Before I release the update, I need help with making the glowmaps animate smoothly using the halogen lighting system used on the Bruckell Nine. Let me know if you can help with this.
There's a YouTube tutorial from none other than LJ74 that you may want to take a look at. It provides how to implement the halogen lighting system step by step. Hope this helps out in some way!
It's awesome to see this mod still being worked on but there is just one question I must ask: Will there be Cargo Box Support for Career mode?
Clear your cache and delete any file named "main.materials.json" in the vehicles folder of your user folder for BeamNG.drive. The issue I'm having right now is that the light glowmaps don't smoothly transition from the glowing material to the non-glowing one. For example, when the headlights are switched off, you can still see the darkened texture that's used for the glowing version for a second after it fades out. I noticed that the same issue occurs with the gauge needles on the Bruckell Nine.
I can't say for sure but it either has something to do with getting them baked (I'm not a materials/texture person), or the on textures just need to be updated as they don't transition well at all.
BeamNG caching materials often causes missing textures. Perform a deep clearing of your cache and delete any files named "main.materials.json" in the vehicles folder of your BeamNG.drive user folder. I'm putting this here for anyone else reading this thread: If you encounter texture issues, do not use this thread for technical support. This thread is not meant to be used for technical support. Please use the Troubleshooting: Bugs, Questions and Support forum. Thank you.
Maybe just my opinion but unless you already have a thread set up in there & a link posted in the main post here, most people are just going to use this thread for support instead of creating one of their own threads there & sit & wait for a reply from the mod author if they happen to see it.
It also makes absolutely no sense to ask for technical support in a thread that isn't for troubleshooting.
