The Stambecco, Nine, T-Series, Pigeon, Wigeon, Burnside, and Bluebuck all have dog-leg transmissions in the game. It would be great for realism if the game automatically changed the shift pattern on H-shifters to match this, so that 1st gear on the shifter is mapped to Reverse, 2nd becomes 1st, 3rd becomes 2nd, and so on, similar to how automatic transmissions automatically remap their various functions to different gears. As someone who wants the most realistic experience possible and who drives these vehicles a lot, it would be convenient not to have to rebind all of the controls every time I switch in and out of these vehicles.
