Also, I just want to thank you for working on this mod. Nice to see that you made the AWD system accurate to real life. Did you also tweak the suspension? I feel like it handles much better now.
Thank you! I have updated the mod with your changes on my page 30 post. The facelift diesel configurations now have the correct diesel tachometer. I did have to make some changes to the model to implement it, so please be sure to clear cache before using the updated mod. And as always, reset the vehicle, change configurations or parts, or reload the game if materials and textures don't fully load. It would be appreciated if you can get some references for the facelift gauge cluster. The more the merrier, and it will also pave the way for a proper implementation of said cluster using HTML and the like. It definitely helps to have a Volvo V60 owner on the forums! Of course, I do appreciate your feedback so far. I tweaked the DSE system for both FWD and AWD models as mentioned in the changelog. But to elaborate, previously, the system was too sensitive on FWD models for everyday driving, while it was not an accurate representation of the Haldex system for AWD models. After further adjustments, both of these issues have been resolved. I don't remember if I tweaked the suspension at some point, but regardless, I'm glad to hear you're having a better overall driving experience!
https://imgur.com/a/r5aEQI7 I also included screenshots of some brochures with the wheel and interior designs. Mine is a 2015 V60 T5 AWD Premier Plus with paint color 707 (Crystal White Pearl Tricoat), interior style K312 (beige with black upper dashboard and steering wheel), and 17x7" Sadia wheels.
Glad to hear! I did however notice one thing and that is that you added the 6 in the tachometer texture for the diesel. Forgot that it was meant to be there and was only gone due to the menu being open.. whoops.
This is the non-digital metric facelift gauge cluster with a central display from a diesel car. I hope this one will be implemented as well!
Well, this little (unofficial) update I made adds smooth lights and a new 5 cylinder Diesel sound. I thought I'd share it now that the thread has surfaced again
because he put 's60spiicy' in the zip instead of 'vehicles'. You have to extract it and then zip the contents inside (vehicles) Here's the fixed version
With someone with an s60 t6 in real life it's so cool to see this in beaming, especially the preface lift! My only real complaint is just the 1/4 time being a second faster tested but its cool to drive around ingame
I figured I might as well provide a status update regarding the S60 mod. First of all, thanks to everyone as always for their continued feedback and support! I do want to get back to the mod now that I have some more motivation for the time being. But for now, I will focus my attention on the S550 Mustang mod and ensure its update is ready before I can revisit the Volvo. While I cannot promise on a fully functional digital gauge cluster with all of the features still, I suppose I do have something else in mind that may finally be feasible. I could also incorporate the changes Poirot made, such as the halogen lighting system introduced in version 0.34 and improved I5 diesel engine sounds. There will be more details to come later, so keep an eye out for that
I would love to see you make a car mod (or another)! But that is very hard, And I can't be a beggar! hope to see this being more!
