Also, the Bluebuck needs way more hubcap options, a different grille (at this time cars were facelifted like every year), smaller bumpers (this was before 5MPH bumpers, so why are the Bluebuck's so massive?), stock exhaust that isn't chrome the entire way, a 4bbl manifold without an aftermarket air filter, and things like that. --- Post updated --- Probable, but unlikely?? What?
Related to doors , 0.29 introduced sliding doors with the Lansdale . Maybe it means that windows and sunroof will be openable on the new Sunburst . Its not impossible , some mods have that for a while now ( and even more , looking at you mods with very interactive interiors )
While I don't expect that, I would appreciate it. It would be a nice touch to make cars a bit more interactive. It makes more sense than a convertible Sunburst...
what if its not just the drag strip added to hirochi raceway but they combined it with eastcoast just like they did in the past
I don't quite know if that would happen - Port and Industrial were combined because they used to be one map, but were split in 0.3.7.4. The Port also didn't have anything else in its map, and it was small enough to be easily added in Industrial Site. HR and ECA have always been separate maps. There's space in ECA for the track, but it'd also require removing or rebuilding so many missions that I don't know if it'd be worth it. What's more likely, IMO, is seeing HR upgraded from 1536x1536 (it's the only map of that size officially) to 2048x2048. ATT's 2x2, as is WCA.
Don't get your hopes too high yet but I agree with you that it will be at least 80% the best and maybe the biggest BeamNG update of all time
I was happy to see that the Sunburst will finally receive a remaster, since the first teaser of the door cards there were already signs that it would be the next car to have a rework, and it was no wonder that I always wanted a remaster of the car --- Post updated --- I think it's hard to have a convertible version of the car that's inspired by a Subaru, since I haven't seen a model of it as a convertible, if they did it would probably be a big step forward. I think maybe they'll add a variant to the car but I can't guarantee that it'll be a convertible, but rather a hatchback since that makes more sense for a car that's inspired by the Subaru Impreza. --- Post updated --- and a question, what do you want for the new sunburst? (mine is new skins, bodykits and a hatchback variant)
I know that it may be a bit late for these suggestions to have any bearing on 0.35, but I hope that sometime in the near future the devs freshen up the common Nomi wings and hillclimb parts with PBR and whatnot. The current "glossy Vantablack" finish is... yeah.
Or maybe a forester-esque variant too! Just so I can have another crossover that I can wreck endlessly.
I'd fully expect windows and sunroofs to be functional. If modders can do it seamlessly, then the developers should be able to as well. I've been getting annoyed at the fact that the modders are the only ones pushing the developers to add things like this. The modders are keeping this game alive. Traffic? We wouldn't have had that for a long time, if at all, if it wasn't for the modder who made the tool in the first place. What about the weather system modders have added? When will the developers EVER get around to adding something like that in the future? Years? If modders can do all these things for free, or in a $2-5 mod, then developers who make a yearly SALERY should be able to match the highest quality mod. So, there's no excuse to skimp on features. Working windows and sunroofs at the minimum should be an expectation rather than a 'wonder if'. Angry rant over.
I expect we'll see a wagon, at which point an "all road" type config would be an easy addition. IRL that would be comparable to the second or third gen Outback Sport depending on the details. The contemporary Forester technically was on the Impreza platform but it was a more significant departure from the Impreza compared to the Outback Sport/Crosstrek.
The reason why this is happens is because the developers strive for perfection. If something isn't perfect they are hesitant to release it. A lot of stuff you mentioned has almost certainly been attempted by the developers, but they haven't reached the standard of quality that they try and reach. The other big reason is the fact that these modders are working on one game related thing. The small developer team at BeamNG have to equally and effectively distribute the load when it comes to any issues and adding new content in every update.
its where a drag tree would be, probably off frame, would make sense seeing as its a drag strip, incline is to help slow the cars down, cones are additional reference points to see if a car went over the line...
