user folder

    hi, please help me with one problem, I deleted beamng on steam (leaving it in the library), but left the user folder so that all the mods wouldn't disappear, but after installing a new beamng, everything is the same in steam, my beamng doesn't see the old folder.
    the game is installed on drive C and my folder is installed on drive D, and instead of finding the old user one, the game created a new one on drive C
    I tried to specify a folder, but after specifying it says that the folder is busy and it needs to be empty
    how can i point the game to the old user folder ?

    In the launcher there is an option to manage the user folder, and it has an option to pick a new location, maybe if you select the location of the old folder there it will detect it
