Re: BeamNG: Personal Micro Blog(s) Hey I know it's really early but do you guys know what you are going to start working on for the next build. If you don't know it's perfectly fine, just wondering!
Re: BeamNG: Personal Micro Blog(s) Ehm, they do permanent building new things... Just saying its their job to do.
Re: BeamNG: Personal Micro Blog(s) With all the shiny chrome goodness going on I must make the suggestion to chrome the fuck out of the T75 front bumper.
Re: BeamNG: Personal Micro Blog(s) This is most likely caused by the steam content servers, as the build bot is uploading it to one server then steam has the job of sending that update to its other international servers so if this is not done, then all traffic is being directed to the lone server that has the most recent update... causing similar to a DDoS situation because so many people are sourcing the same files. This is what I think is happening.
Re: BeamNG: Personal Micro Blog(s) For the T-75, are variations planned? Like a sleeper cab, or a schoolbus based off of the T75's frame?
Re: BeamNG: Personal Micro Blog(s) Gabester said there will be different cabs like a sleeper... I doubt there will be an official B-75 if you will
Re: BeamNG: Personal Micro Blog(s) Worked until 4, slept 5 hours until 9, then started to switch intranet over to the new gigabit switch we got. Getting some coffee now.
Re: BeamNG: Personal Micro Blog(s) I like the new input changes, they're not ideal yet as they render every vehicle only capable of straight lines over 50mph, but they're heading in the right direction. I'd love to see the limit on lock either doubled or removed as the slowed inputs with increased speed are enough. Things are far more driveable under 50mph with a keyboard at least. I need a decent controller, one shaped similarly to the playstation controller.
Re: BeamNG: Personal Micro Blog(s) Havent been on the internet much over the last 2 days so I had 0 idea about this new update, guess who is excited
Re: BeamNG: Personal Micro Blog(s) Thanks for taking the time to make and post in the micro blogs beam team! great stuff
Re: BeamNG: Personal Micro Blog(s) Really like that idea. Where the map would be available wide open with no markings at all and then in race mode there are cones and maybe some signs to guide people around. That way you have a more sandboxy type to play around in or even do tests with others and then you can have many different layouts for race mode giving one level versatility to have many different types of races. Also really liking this thread and all the new updates to the game. Great stuff.
Re: BeamNG: Personal Micro Blog(s) For me it would totally have to be the Ibishu 200BX. But the roamer would be cool as well. EDIT: Actually i would be interested to see a Charmand as well, based upon Gabester's opinions about french cars i think it could be really interesting too.
Re: BeamNG: Personal Micro Blog(s) I have a bit of a suggestion that I would like to put out there. Not sure where else to do it so it goes here. I think it'd be really cool and add a lot to immersion if cars had a bit of throttle response delay. Whatever it is irl. Half a second? A quarter? I'm not sure. You never even notice it if you aren't stomping on the pedal, so the only thing that would be noticeably affected is when you change the input position a great amount, quickly, just like a real car. Also a bit of delay in transmission kickdowns, slightly more than the throttle response delay. I'd say maybe a fifth or a quarter of a second more than whatever the throttle delay value is. Of course considerably more delay in the sunburst because of the massive amount of computers in between the go-pedal and the front wheels. I'm using crown vic videos because I have them on hand, of course. You can't hear the person stomp the pedal, but anyone that drives knows what I'm talking about. If you listen closely in the videos, you can hear the engine rev up just a tiny bit before the transmission kicks down, thus why I think the transmission response delay should be very slightly more than throttle.
