Beam Running in the Background but Not Opening

Hello,

My game is not opening at all. After I click "Launch" it shows its running, even on task manager but the game won't open. I tried opening it in both safemodes and it does not open. I re-intall the game in a different hard drive, deleted userfolder, checked my graphic card drivers, changed the graphics settings from nvidia to run the game on low settings. Nothing seems to be working, all mods have been deleted too.

Any other solutions for this?

Did you do anything to it before this happened?

 

I installed a track from repo, after trying to load a car in that map, the game crashed twice, Stopped working after that

 

Maybe you could try clearing the cache but I'm not sure.

1. Uninstall BeamNG.drive from Steam
2. Delete your BeamNG.drive Userfolder
3. Delete BeamNG.Drive folder from Steam/Steamapp/common
4. Reinstall BeamNG.drive Maby this will help.

 

Yep, did those 4 steps already too. Still is not working. Reinstalled it in a different hard drive too

 

antiviruses/other programs could be causing the problem. try closing/end task of everything that is not steam and open the game

 

if its what i think it is...
this is an issue ive also encountered...

did you have beamng crash recently?... or maybe not so recently? and you didnt pay attention to the little crash bug reporting box?

because if so, when you open beamng, or try to, itll probably still have that "Crash report" thingy opened in the background, icon hidden in the task bar on the right near the time.
and steam thinks that crash reporter is beamng, so itll stop you from launching beamng as it thinks its already launched. but its confused with this lil thing..
you just need to click on that beamng crash/bug report thingy, tell it to either close and dont report bugs, or close AND report bugs.

words might not be 100% correct im going on based off of a vague memory.
but hopefully this helps. as ive encountered this same issue and the fix was simply to close the crash reporter thingy.

I disabled antivirus just to double check. Doesn't work either. Just opened a ticket, we'll see!

 

Have you tried opening the game's exe on its own instead of using the launcher?

 

Tried that too, didnt work

 

Did you play around with multiple monitors and now have only one connected? Check your windows display settings and make sure the one connected is marked as main display

 

did you try re-install drivers? if not, driver could causing problem.
