BeamNG Low FPS on High End Computer

Getting around 50-60 FPS in Career Mode goes to 30 in Utah without Career Mode and Traffic.

CPU: Ryzen 7 7800X3D
GPU: RTX 4080 Super
RAM: 32 Gigabyte of DDR5 5600MHZ
SSD: M.2 1 Terrabyte SSD
Usage: 20% CPU 90% GPU on Vulkan API (On DirectX its even less FPS)

 

Try checking the performance graph (Ctrl + Shift + F). At the top, it will tell you what might be limiting your FPS by flashing white or red.

 

hi so sorry for the late answer i tweaked alot around my pc and i got some more fps now at the same graphics etc. but heres the graph im still not really impressed by the stats

Seems like it could be related to your CPU. What do your temps look like when running the game? Also, does the FPS change at all when running with DirectX?

Temps are Normal, about 60-70 C° and when I run DirectX it gives me around 20 FPS less

 

What are your traffic settings? Auto (leftmost position of slider) or fixed number of cars? Same performance in safe mode?
