Ad hominem. Personally speaking, I oppose paid mods because I believe they cause damage to the game's community. For some modders it changes modding from being done as a fun side project, to being done to make a quick buck. I'm sure plenty of us remember the guy who tried to sell logs, someone just recently who is selling a single bodykit, the many vehicle mods that have been put behind paywalls over the past 2 and a half years, and of course this mod here. My opposition has nothing to do with my own greed or entitlement, rather it's out of concern that this community is taking the game and turning it into their own sort of DLC factory
Mine is a passion project that is clearly going to be free as it says in the description. Im going to use the money to fund a new gpu since mine is dying, if you don't like paid mods then don't use paid mods but do you sit in front of a pc for hours a day making them no i don't think so if you did you would understand why there paid. You paid for the game right why because you wanted it and the devs worked hard on it so your reimbursing them. Every game with mods has paid mods. Every last one of them.
And what do you want to do then? Play police? Forbid it? Get upset every time? And talk about "the community" every time, even though you only mean a few people? The good in the community can only exist if many people are creative, not if a few are constantly paying attention and complaining that others are supposedly doing something wrong. Just do the things right that you think are bad in others, that is always the easiest and safest way to improve a community. The forum has rules that BeamNG GmbH and public law have set, everything else is opinions and the best way to control it is to encourage ideas or not to do it. That is effective. If there is no interest in a rip-off offer, it will quickly catch on, I think. Maybe the subwoofers will be a hit at some point because they were paid for and the author only got the options he needed. Do you know? It is intrusive to oppose it instead of turning your back on it. You are only living out the bad side of it. Sorry for off topic.
these honestly look nice. not sure how much would a typical gpu cost, especially in russia, but i wish you good luck in replacing it! just a heads up, don't buy a GPU on sites like aliexpress, wish or temu. those sites tend to slap an old cheap board (usually a GTS 450) onto a cool looking cooler and sell it as something else. you might have a chance of getting an actual GPU, and not getting scammed, but for the most part, stick to actual retail places
it didnt give me the option for anything else --- Post updated --- --- Post updated --- WIP Amplifier
