I forgot to respond to those questions, apologies!

Regarding the search function, that's been investigated by the team and decisions are still on the table there. The big issue here is that the entire inventory system is still just "there and good enough" before getting the proper development/overhaul. So spending a lot of time on it at the moment hasn't been a priority, it's just been a, "get something, ANYTHING, out there so players at least have the basic abilities." Proper development hasn't been established for it yet. Our plans are to have a much more user-friendly and intuitive/faster system once we get to it!

As for the mirrors... I'll ask about that and why it's missing, thanks for bringing this up. I've seen chatter about it either here or in the work chats, so I'll see what they come back with!

 

Not sure about the balancing yet - you know me, "Balancing will come later" so for now I'll pass this on, but whatever is there isn't necessarily intended in the first place, but sorry about unbalanced things for now, oof.

Regarding the mirrors, yeah not sure about that - perhaps it was "about to be added" but it certainly isn't currently there now. The problem is that you should be able to adjust mirrors at all times, but you cannot access the "tuning" menu at all times in Career, so it should be moved to the radial menu buuuut the radial menu isn't really very well integrated (needs to be wiped out or revamped still) so for now I've got buzz going on in chats about it at work, fingers crossed something good comes, and soon!

Thanks for the report about the pickup points not working unless you opened the map, that sounds like a bug and I'll let them know! Appreciate it a lot!

 

To clarify - did you buy JUST the upfit for $80k or the entire vehicle?
Secondly, were you using a loaner MD60 or was that the one you purchased when you had the pick up issues?

That's a bug, we'll try to fix it for the next hotfix. Thanks for the report

 

Yup, this is a bug at the moment and it's being looked into, sorry that this has made it out! The ideal solution for this matter would be to have a "continue" button always visible, as well as a scroll bar for the boxes. The team is aware of this.

Regarding day and night, this is something I'd like, just a morning, noon, and evening TOD setting even, but this may come later. I have played with many dynamic TOD settings changes using the flowgraph editor for instance - as you drive the TOD changes, but as you sit still it doesn't, so as you have driven across the map it'll be sunset or sunrise as you arrive somewhere else possibly, but slow and gradual enough that you don't really notice the change happening (no need for extra shadow flickering!)

This is something I want, and something that's technically simple to integrate, just not ETA at the moment sorry!

 

Also a quick sneak peak based on some messages above, look at what I'm currently playing with in Career Mode at the moment! It might change slightly, but basically, radial menu > mirror adjust ftw! Apologies this wasn't already in the game like this, but it's being worked on right now!
