Vulkan is great... but the traffic is problematic.

Hello BeamNG community.
I have a question related to BeamNG Vulkan.
I'm on v0.33.1 and I love it. However, my laptop (Dell G16 7620; RTX 3060 laptop GPU; Intel i7-12700H; 32GB of Crucial RAM [16GB][16GB]) has trouble running the game at a high framerate with high graphical settings on Direct3D11, but on Vulkan, it's extremely fast (60-70FPS with high-refreshing-rate mirrors, normal/high settings). However, when I try to spawn in traffic, my game completely freezes after spawning the cars in. It's stuck on the loading screen for way too long, and eventually I have to alt+f4 and end the task. My question is, how do I make traffic work? In my testing, spawning even 1 car using the traffic UI map permafreezes the game. So does launching traffic from the Radial Menu.
What do I do?

Interesting i never use vulkan

 

Do you know anybody who does? I really want to love it. It’s so fast at rendering…

 

I do not know anyone who uses vulkan

 

I use Vulkan regularly. Vulkan gives me better fps when I have traffic spawned in, so I just use it all the time. Aside from a few visual glitches and the UI sometimes doing some weird stuff, it works pretty well for me.

 

thats what used to happen to me to, not on vulkan, i would just leave my computer for 5-15 minutes

I don't think I've ever had the game freeze or crash when loading traffic in Vulkan...

 

personally i barley use beam..mostly because the pc is a cheep office pc so it can barley run beam

 

it freezes because your on a laptop trying to run the game at good PC levels

 

Dude, that's like telling a guy who could only afford a '98 Civic si to go buy a new Supra.

And it seems to be a half decent setup to begin with. Better than mine.

 

no its more along the lines of saying to someone that you cannot expect your civic to do the same things as a new supra

 

bro, with vulkan I get min 50fps on high graphics…

sooo how do I fix it ?

 

Try to enable 'spawn with traffic' in DX11 version, close game, launch in Vulkan. Works for me. Maybe it needs to compile some shaders or something
