Yeah, that was probably it. It makes sense that a change to how dropping the player at the camera works would also mess with setPosition(). I'm trying my best to keep off-freeway road plans, and things patently not featured in the film, to a minimum. If I had meant to create only the freeway itself, this whole project could have probably been done in a few months. Adding near anything else inflates the plans greatly. Granted, now that I'm looking at partly redesigning the map, I might be inclined to sneak in a feature or two more. We'll see.
The remaster is so mindblowing! Also I did the matrix freeway oldsmobile flip in beamng. I can show you the proof
great to see that this is being updated but is there currently any fix for the traffic going the wrong way sometimes
What do you mean teleportation is broken? It works fine for me And this map doesn't even have working ai
Let this thread die, its been active for long and its a old mod from 2015/2016 so ofc its going to have ai bugs
the ai works when you use the ai ui app, i havent used the traffic option though. Teleportation doesn't work when i reach the end of the highway. Are you using a different version?
Okay, there seems to be some confusion so here goes: This mod is not in active development, and has been functionally abandoned for several years now. I did start a V2 for this project back in ~2020 and managed to make some good headway on it, but it was always a new project entirely. The original, public, and currently only Matrix Freeway does not have a teleportation system to loop its freeway, but the V2 was supposed to feature one. Unfortunately, the code that made it work properly was changed in some BeamNG update or other, and now I'll need to look into other options to loop the freeway or possibly fix the teleportation code. And since that snag killed a lot of the momentum I had going for me, I haven't touched the V2 project in close to 2 years. I've got a couple of big projects that I'm pretty excited about coming down the line in the next few months, after those are out I'll look into getting back on making V2 happen.
