eventually i'll get to it, just not anytime soon I'd rather not have that as a slider, but instead actual different exhausts in size and length or different mufflers giving different sounds, which i'll try to get to rather sooner than later with the exhaust overhaul
I have noticed an issue with most, or all cars with a turbo. For some reason, in a manual car with a turbo, the clutch will slip for most of first gear and will not disengage for a while. I'm on a controller and using clutch and throttle assist in the settings.
Can you add Basset Racing rims like these? I'm thinking they can come in 15/8 15/10 and 15/12 sizes, and have black and aluminum varients, with the colored stripes being interchangeable ot removable as a rim addon. (Basset also makes 4 lug varients, and if you added those for the 4 lug cars that would also be cool)
Meo has those on his patreon version of his drag parts pack, pretty sure you can choose from 15x8's all the way to 15x14's
depending on how much torque the engine is producing the gearbox might not be able to keep up since the clutch engage and disengage values are often written in its jbeam, race transmissions should be able to take it tho, to a certain extend funny that you mention it, Im planing on adding these exact rims in as well (lore friendly of course) as part of a more nascar/stock car themed update in the future
It don't think it would be from how much torque the engine is making. Even low horsepower/torque cars with a turbo are still slipping the clutch way too much. It could have something with how its coded but then again, I have no idea how mods are even made or what goes into making them. I also have a suggestion. Would it be possible to add an option for the 2 compound turbos that keep them under the hood without the second one sticking out?
I've noticed on a lot of turbo/carb setups that when I use the race performance carb, it's invisible. Not a huge thing at all, just not sure if it's been reported yet. Also, I just subbed to the BX engine pack on kofi and I haven't used the vanilla bx engines a single time. I'm overwhelmed at how amazing it is. Everything from the visuals, to the intake sounds changing with the different N/A intakes has just blown me away completely. You're killing it!
could you add the 265 turbofire engine or add option to change head from the flathead to normal. could you add the 55-56 belair interior and add the 55-56 belair hood ornament for the burnside. sorry if i am asking for alot.
ok i think i know what whats causing the slippage, basically its a controller in the turbo jbeam which only fully engages the clutch around 3000rpm its pretty much a leftover which i never really payed attention to, still kinda helpful on low lowend torque engines like some i6 and v6's but i'll do some adjusting I can't find any engines where they don't appear, can you specify on what car and engine its not there for you? otherwise thank you man, happy you're enjoying it if you wanna do it just for yourself you can go ahead, no need to ask me but publicly no, i'll most likely add them to the BX at some point in the future i don't really have a big incentive to add in another v8 engine atm and ohv conversions for the flatheads will need new intakes and exhausts, and im still not done with adding in those parts on the regular flatheads. maybe in the future tho and i do have some hood trim planned for the burnside but no interiors
