Spencer Johnson maps are often abandoned after a certain time. He can go buy it on Patreon if he really wants to play it.
Yes, and this practice is what is causing frustration in the community. If a modmaker wants to keep charging for their mod forever they can just call it a paid mod from the start; it is a bit dishonest to claim that a mod is only “paid in early access” and then either drag out development on purpose or miss the public release deadline with the mod still behind a Patreon paywall. If the developer promises this sort of arrangement, they should release the unfinished copy for free if they lose motivation and decide not to finish it.
