Here are some progress i did for the stryder tiara today. Didn't work on this car much cause i had exams. I removed the shade errors the best as i could to make it clean, although the car has a few shade errors at some parts i have to fix. Also, i might change the rear cause i'm not pleased. Do you guys want to share some of your opinions or suggestions before i start the hardcore modeling?
It's still full of errors and I'm not sure a 'close-coupled trailer' combination is common in the US, but oh well... I'm also making a 'full' (rotating front axle) flatbed trailer, they are common for hauling heavy equipment over here. Should be fun practicing reversing with a trailer. Still no in-game screens though. Anyone a idea how IRL a closed coupled trailer is prevented from falling over while braking? Also, I'm not sure how to design the front end of the trailer. Maybe a rotating 'plate' so one is able to drive between the truck and trailer?
That's a 'full-trailer'... The flatbed trailer is going to be a full trailer. This is what I'm atm trying to create. (the drawbar isn't visible unfortunately) (source: wikipedia.org) --update-- nevermind, I just found trailers like these have a strong, solid drawbar with should cope with the moment caused by braking.
Hmm, this is the first time I see your post. I don't wan't to cut the grass under your feet, are you still working on it? Although mine will be different, the front will be 'foldable' and it obvously is a dual 'mid-axle' trailer...
Please don't use the Gavril V8 engine sound for this. To violate the sanctity of the Allison in that manner would be deplorable sacrilege. Can't wait to play with this......errr I just had a fantastic idea: Get the AI to work with aircraft and fly formation in this with the B25..... or shoot it down buwahahhaaa. Damn I'm good.
Made my first proper tire. Was a bit clueless on the correct method, especially to make it tileable, but managed to do it. (imported from here) I think I have my normal map inverted x|
