Update Speculation thread

The thing is, because of the delay of 0.32 "by 4 months instead of 3 months" we're out of schedule, we won't make it in time for the Christmas release... this could be fixed by releasing the update earlier, which is unlikely, they will probably delay the next two updates by 4 months each

 

Last couple of times they promised something, it ended up biting them in the back (ropes/ wrenches, tire thermals/ tire physics). And also with 0.27 and UTV in concept art (misunderstandment). Im not surprised that they would quiet down with promises and teasers (as teasers also kinda promise what will be in the next update) untill the last couple of weeks before update atleast.

Any failed promise would hurt community - dev relationship, looking at stormworks community for example, it looks like its in complete shambles.
Also looking at some of the speculations, even the smallest things can get blown out of proportion.
While the devs arent obliged to it, it would also be nice to see some more transparency tho...(like they are currently with career mode, shoutout to krallopian).

 

I think a all new car/truck/driveable thing is due.

SO i wonder what it will be ( what type of thing )

I will love a pree war car.
or maybe a 70s British classic Ultra luxury like Bentley or rolls Royce type car,

Or just another 80s pile of crap.
I would love a 1980s boxy BOX crown vic/caprice type car.


BUT also i guess we will also get more T-series stuff witch will be sweet with a V8

I never cared for big rigs till DEC 2023 when the T-series got remade

I feel like we need more of a focus on the 1950s in American Automobiles
It would be a good opportunity for another Burnside or perhaps something that Bruckell or Soliad would've made in the 50s

 

Agreed. I love the 1950s era.

Even if we JUST get a burnside remake. Or even st this point JUST a refreash it will be welcome

I want a New Hampshire map (ECUSA doesn't have enough hills, and NH has basically no coastline)

 

I speculate that tire thermals won’t come this update, but will come next update (0.34)

 

I doubt it will come before 2025

Well they estimated a demo release in late 2022, but that never happened, too many delays. 2 years of delays I think it’s reasonable
