So this is my first time adding 3d models to beam. Trying to add a bulging hood so I can add superchargers to the BX v8. Problem is I can't get the new hood to load textures. Did I miss a step? - loaded BX dae into blender - deleted everything but the hood - modified the hood - made sure the material is bx_main.001 - exported the hood (ticked triangulate and apply modification, render from drop down) - jbeamed it Shows correctly, opens correctly, bends correctly in-game. No texture. Ples halp
It seems, you duplicated the part. The material has a ".001" written as suffix, which means the material is duplicated. Under the material window, you have to click on the drop down menu, to see all textures (not the red ball, below this window there is written "bx_main.001" again) and there you should be able to see all materials and replace it with the original one.
Ohhh that's weird. Thanks for the reply. I tried to add the bx_main material and now the hood is invisible lol. --- Post updated --- OHhh I figured it out. Just choosing the correct material wasn't enough, I had to delete it and add it again. THANKS FOR THE HELP!!!
