Haha --- Post updated --- @bussin.buses @Obnoxious @anyone What is your opinion on CAFE regulations and the Chicken Tax?
Dumb. Firstly, the Chicken Tax is outdated. And for CAFE, why do automakers need to have their fleet be above a fuel economy average? I'd understand if it were for emissions (kind of), but fuel economy? Not everyone needs to make economy cars.
Also, the law actually encourages automakers to create larger vehicles, as they are exempt from the regulations. This also explains why no automakers want to create economy cars anymore, as they would have to completely choke the power levels or create boring shitboxes. The Chicken Tax shouldn't have existed in the first place. Isn't competition from other countries supposed to make our products better? Plus, most cars nowadays aren't even made in the US. Jeep designs most of their cars in Italy anyway, and most of our "American" vans are actually just badge-engineered European vans with slight differences. (Ram Promaster go brrrr)
blah blah blah freedom. give me a poutine, some maple syrup and some ketchup chips while I watch hockey
It’s the reason we don’t have utes, mini trucks and small pickups in North America, i don’t know if these laws are in Canada, but nonetheless, they don’t exist
We have utes, mini trucks, and small pickups here in Mexico. It may also have to do with the fact that the US and Canada have very big families, so that's why they want big, gas-guzzling pickup trucks. Still, the US and Canada have very outdated regulation laws.
We used to have big families (my grandfather has eleven siblings), but now the average is like two kids or something.
My grandpa had 12 siblings and grew up very poor without electricity until he was a teenager. --- Post updated --- All my grandparents had no electricity until the late 50s
I'm surprised how little people reacted to my social experiment. Like if you got rickrolled, agree if you didn't.
Well no one wants to click on what one would assume to be a furry porn site it just proves that we may not be as degenerate as you would think Which reminds me of everyone knows that, which was found yesterday on a porn film from the 90s. By a redditor
I actually stumbled upon that site when researching mammals for a 10-11th grade school project. I looked up fur because I wanted to include a small section about the difference between hair and fur. And I thought that site was info on fur and hair. It was fur all right
I saw that it was a Youtube link and I didn't want to click on it because I guessed that it was a rickroll
