Update Speculation thread

Too bad, they should be happy that they even get a few days before it drops. Creator program is a privilege after all, they should be happy that it even exists - that they're allowed to play before everyone else.

 

We already have that, most maps just don't have a big enough altitude change for it to be noticable.
But if you for example run up pikes peak you can feel your car getting sluggisher after every turn.

 

Yeah, being able to get a video out at the same time as the update is good and all, but if it's a day later that should be fine too, it's still out faster than if they didn't get it early at all. But I also don't know the youtube algorithm like they do, maybe being a day late costs thousands of views, who knows.

Reversible logic, and many wouldn’t. Most carry jobs outside of YouTube and can’t batch up a proper review in a few days while weighing it as non-evergreen content. I’m sure the general week or so it’s on the creator branch is used for bug testing as well. Waiting a few extra days for a free update really isn’t bad.

 

It'd be funny if the devs use your posts to keep track of what they themselves have said they would do lol

 

There are already maps that high and it does affect the na engines

 

I speculate that there will be an update. I have now done my part in keeping this thread on-topic.

The update will have Support for VR controllers with a new hand model

I’d really love for them to add a ‘look and click’ feature in VR; To highlight objects in your center of view which you can click and drag with head movement. Blindly reaching for a mouse or controller isn’t always ideal
