D-Series Add-on Unofficial Fix: Version 3 (Chrome Update) - 22/01/25 This is the third major update of the D-series addon fix! This time, the focus was on material and model improvements. CHANGELOG: General: PBR Skins and new configs, courtesy of @LeGran Model Improvements: Improved models for the chrome parts. Remade the models for the oldstyle taillight surrounds. Fixed some UV map issues. Some unnecessarily high-poly models have been simplified. Should be a bit better for performance. Material Improvements: Pretty much every chrome part now uses the same chrome material as the vanilla D-Series chrome parts, making them look much nicer (IMO). Work in progress improvements to the interior materials (See Issues). The oldstyle lightbars glass now breaks to the correct colour. .JBeam Improvements: The Oldstyle backlight, flareside camper shell and racing bed have been fixed, though they are still due a re-.JBeam. The police centre console interior now has a working manual gearshift. I tried to add the siren and light switches from the roamer version of the interior, but the D-series lightbars don't seem to be compatible with them so they have been left out for now. ISSUES: Some parts still are due .JBeam improvements. Some of the interior materials are very bright for some reason. The oldstyle green interior is now lime green for some reason, and the oldstyle blue interior is also very bright. The non-oldstyle green interior is still work in progress (Its basically the grey interior with a green filter, looks bad). Some materials and textures are due an update (Mainly the 'oldvan_addparts_sergentfido' material) The Station wagon frame and upfits are still due an update. NEXT UPDATE PLAN: Station wagon overhaul. Semi upfit is still work in progress. If you find an issue, feel free to DM me and I'll try to fix it in a future update. I'll try to do more than 2 updates in a year this time lol. Enjoy! Yea ar162b has not been on this platform since April 10, 2023 so I’m not sure if he’ll really care but thank you for the making this fix
dash is messed up, the gauges are inverted so the dials go basically upside down ie speedometer goes down the faster youre going --- Post updated --- steering wheel doesent work either
This is really cool but the hay bales still have no texture. --- Post updated --- Also the rpm gauge spins the wrong way.
Tips for putting a pre-0.31 semi truck with a 0.31 trailer: Spawn a trailer of your choice and the semi Go into the parts selector for the trailer and remove a part called “Brake Valve” Connect using nodegrabber if the semi is a modded semi, if not modded (default T-series pre-0.31), use L Enjoy! --- Post updated ---
I had been trying to figure out how to fix this on my own (absolutely clueless, and no mod experience)! Thank you for fixing one of my favorite D-series mods! The only issue I have is the old tailgate having an off colored rectangle where the "Gavril" text is supposed to be, but I can look past that tbh. Thank you again!
