For some reason I want a 3 wheeled sunburst, with one wheel in the back, like a Polaris Slingshot. Although if they did that it’d probably be a separate vehicle
Unfortunately i think the I-Series will be one of the last remasters as there don´t seem to vast interest in it as with vehicles like the Sunburst or Moonhawk for example. Understandable of course but i would love to see the I-Series remastered soon too but in the end popularity will decide the remaster cycle.
Judging by his comment history he professions at being a salty sea snail. Looks like we’re seeing some similarities with the devs mentioning an inverted AO layer (honestly not sure on what AO stands for) to add to dynamic dirt, along with the video you found. I’m curious as to how long ago the dynamic dirt system had been mentioned since the devs mentioned putting it on the back burner a few months ago due to time requirements.
Sorry for killing the hype but the dynamic textures system has nothing to do with mud/scratches and it's just an interface for the career mode livery editor like some of you guessed. It is 'dynamic' because the texture changes while you are positioning decals. The existence of an auxiliary skin for this purpose is necessary because the game needs to know which textures on which material need to be replaced with the special textures which contain the decals. This is documented here: https://documentation.beamng.com/modding/vehicle/sections/skins/#dynamic-textures
Fun fact: Every remastered/refreshed/remade vehicle we got never had a PBR interior prior to the remaster. This doesn't apply to remasters before 0.23/0.24. So we can speculate what the next possible vehicle remasters could be. Currently, the vehicles without PBR interiors are the Burnside Special, Gavril Bluebuck, Hirochi SBR4, Hirochi Sunburst, Ibishu Hopper, and the Wentward DT40L. There are vehicles that more desperately need a remaster that do have PBR interiors, like the Ibishu Miramar, Ibishu 200BX, Bruckell Moonhawk, etc., but this gives us an idea of what the next remaster could be.
Yes we know about it. It was seen in every single development build of the next Version seen. We’ve seen it a total of 3 times. They keep denying it for some reason but you can’t just deny that it’s even there
Age old tactic They keep on denying that a feature is implemented so that if someone does spot it, the excitement over it won't go out of proportion & people won't end up disappointed if it won't come in the next update or won't have some features; basically lowering excitement around it forcefully to keep it under control
No, we know is something called "multiplayer" is being worked on but we don't know if it's actual online multiplayer or if it's even close to being playable
