there was no reason to make the installation for the update that complicated. if the creator didnt want you to upload you fixing it then maybe he should have DONE IT HIMSELF

Maybe you should for once actually look what the original author said. So uploading what you just did is not allowed.

You may modify the car but you can only upload the parts that you've edited/created. The mods should always link to this thread and require the user to download the file attached below for it to work. Re uploading the whole mod is forbidden (like it's going to stop anyone)

The missing wheel texture was a simple problem to solve, the game was looking for dds textures even though all the textures are pngs.

I remember this being one of the more detailed mods back in the Rigs Of Rods days.
Nice to see it here, but going from the comments i would assume it needs an update?

Hey there everyone! Today is a great day because I am releasing the pbr version of the falcon. If there are any problems lmk. I plan on keeping this thing up to do date with possibly new parts and further overhauled textures in the future.

To install the updated stuff make sure to do the following:
1. unpack the xb gt mod
2. go to the documents folder or wherever you have the mods folder and there is the unpacked folder, open that and go to xbgt/vehicles/XBGT

Now do the next steps:
1. delete the materials.cs file
2. delete all textures that start with XBGTbody including the skins
4. delete all textures that start with XBGTinterior, they are replaced with refreshed ones in the new files
5. as well as delete all car thumbnails that end with _garage_side or _garage_front
6. Now paste all the stuff thats in the stuff for xbgt folder zip into there, if it asks you to replace some things then do so

Next we are gonna slap the new stuff into the unpacked/xbgt/vehixles/common/XBGT_wheels folder
1. delete all the textures that start with XBGTtyre
2. delete the materials.cs file
3. Now take the bits from the stuff for xbgt common folder zip and drop everything into there and yet again if it asks you to replace something then do so.

Now for the last step, make sure you clear cache!

Optional (if you are having texture problems)!
Now this step is optional, but might be useful if you are having texture problems even after clearing cache. Make sure you go to documents or userfolder (place where you can find your custom configs), then go to vehicles/XBGT, and make sure there is no materials.json (or materials.cs) files or if there is then delete that file.

Then you can pack the mod up again manually or in game (i suggest you do it manually). But you dont have to pack it up if you dont want to.

Open your game and enjoy!

Interceptor
As for the interceptor, just download the zip below and drop it into your mods folder, all you need to do is delete the old interceptor mod if you have that installed.

- Added painted bumpers and grilles (you can now make skins with uv mapped painted bumpers)
- now Moffat Group C race car, GT and John Goss special have correct painted parts

Interceptor update 11/02/2023
Updated interceptor is finally here!
- removed unnessecary parts
- improved front bumper, fender and front grille cover models
- improved interceptor body
- fixed texture issues
- made so the interceptor parts are also paintable by the main color
- fixed some jbeam issues
- made interceptor ducktail available on the normal falcon as well

i have had this mod for some time now got rid of it because it was broken i previously made my dads 1974 XB falcon but now that it has updated i can make his car again and even better then it was before

it's confusing.

Download the file on page 5 of this thread, and find the textures fix for the car. Make sure to follow the instructions listed

Whaaat? Just download all the files you can find, name them with version numbers so it's easier to know what's what, Then add mod 1 at a time, clear cache, run game, select mod, test it, then remove mod, clear cache and repeat with the next version number, Soon you'll know from experiencing it.. We call it, Trial & Error Testing.. Yes it's annoying but still you'll get results, Just clear cache after every mod has been added and removed.. umm Off-Topic >> I cbf'd doing quote first, you'll get the gist.. simsimw, That must be an Android thing as it's always happening on my Samsung Galaxy.. That never happened on my old iPhone. at typos..
